啟示錄 1
1 耶穌基督的啟示，就是上帝賜給他，叫他將必要快成的事指示他的眾僕人。他就差遣使者曉諭他的僕人約翰。
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel to his servant John:
2 約翰便將上帝的道和耶穌基督的見證，凡自己所看見的都證明出來。
Who bore testimony of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 念這書上預言的和那些聽見又遵守其中所記載的，都是有福的，因為日期近了。
Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand.
4 約翰寫信給亞細亞的七個教會。但願從那昔在、今在、以後永在的上帝，和他寶座前的七靈，
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] to you, and peace, from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;
5 並那誠實作見證的、從死裏首先復活、為世上君王元首的耶穌基督，有恩惠、平安歸與你們！ 他愛我們，用自己的血使我們脫離罪惡，
And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first-begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 看哪，他駕雲降臨！ 眾目要看見他， 連刺他的人也要看見他； 地上的萬族都要因他哀哭。 這話是真實的。阿們！
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] who pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
8 主上帝說：「我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛，是昔在、今在、以後永在的全能者。」
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
9 我－約翰就是你們的弟兄，和你們在耶穌的患難、國度、忍耐裏一同有分，為上帝的道，並為給耶穌作的見證，曾在那名叫拔摩的海島上。
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
10 當主日，我被聖靈感動，聽見在我後面有大聲音如吹號，說：
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
11 「你所看見的當寫在書上，達與以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉那七個教會。」
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] to the seven churches which are in Asia; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.
12 我轉過身來，要看是誰發聲與我說話；既轉過來，就看見七個金燈臺。
And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 燈臺中間有一位好像人子，身穿長衣，直垂到腳，胸間束着金帶。
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 他的頭與髮皆白，如白羊毛，如雪；眼目如同火焰；
His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;
15 腳好像在爐中鍛鍊光明的銅；聲音如同眾水的聲音。
And his feet like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 他右手拿着七星，從他口中出來一把兩刃的利劍；面貌如同烈日放光。
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 我一看見，就仆倒在他腳前，像死了一樣。他用右手按着我，說：「不要懼怕！我是首先的，我是末後的，
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
19 所以你要把所看見的，和現在的事，並將來必成的事，都寫出來。
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
20 論到你所看見、在我右手中的七星和七個金燈臺的奧祕，那七星就是七個教會的使者，七燈臺就是七個教會。」
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
