詩篇 42

1 可拉後裔的訓誨詩，交與伶長。 上帝啊，我的心切慕你， 如鹿切慕溪水。

“BOOK II. For the leader of the music. A song of the sons of Korah.” As the hart panteth for the water-brooks, So panteth my soul for thee, O God!

2 我的心渴想上帝，就是永生上帝； 我幾時得朝見上帝呢？

My soul thirsteth for God, the living God: When shall I come, and appear before God?

3 我晝夜以眼淚當飲食； 人不住地對我說：你的上帝在哪裏呢？

My tears have been my food day and night, While they say to me continually, “Where is thy God?”

4 我從前與眾人同往， 用歡呼稱讚的聲音 領他們到上帝的殿裏，大家守節。 我追想這些事， 我的心極其悲傷。

When I think of it, I pour out my soul in grief; How I once walked with the multitude, Walked slowly with them to the house of God, Amid sounds of joy and praise with the festive multitude!

5 我的心哪，你為何憂悶？ 為何在我裏面煩躁？ 應當仰望上帝，因他笑臉幫助我； 我還要稱讚他。

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!

6 我的上帝啊，我的心在我裏面憂悶， 所以我從約旦地， 從黑門嶺，從米薩山記念你。

My soul is cast down within me, While I remember thee from the land of Jordan and Hermon, From the mountain Mizar.

7 你的瀑布發聲，深淵就與深淵響應； 你的波浪洪濤漫過我身。

Deep calleth for deep at the noise of thy waterfalls; All thy waves and billows have gone over me!

8 白晝，耶和華必向我施慈愛； 黑夜，我要歌頌禱告賜我生命的上帝。

Once the LORD commanded his kindness by day, And by night his praise was with me, -Thanksgiving to the God of my life.

9 我要對上帝－我的磐石說： 你為何忘記我呢？ 我為何因仇敵的欺壓時常哀痛呢？

Now I say to God, my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? Why go I mourning on account of the oppression of the enemy?

10 我的敵人辱罵我， 好像打碎我的骨頭， 不住地對我說： 你的上帝在哪裏呢？

Like the crushing of my bones are the reproaches of the enemy, While they say to me continually, “Where is thy God?”

11 我的心哪，你為何憂悶？ 為何在我裏面煩躁？ 應當仰望上帝，因我還要稱讚他。 他是我臉上的光榮，是我的上帝。

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!
