詩篇 2

1 外邦為甚麼爭鬧？ 萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 世上的君王一齊起來， 臣宰一同商議， 要敵擋耶和華並他的受膏者，

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3 說：我們要掙開他們的捆綁， 脫去他們的繩索。

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 那坐在天上的必發笑； 主必嗤笑他們。

He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

5 那時，他要在怒中責備他們， 在烈怒中驚嚇他們，

Then shall he speak to them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 說：我已經立我的君 在錫安－我的聖山上了。

Yet have I set my king on my holy hill of Zion.

7 受膏者說：我要傳聖旨。 耶和華曾對我說：你是我的兒子， 我今日生你。

I will declare the decree: the LORD has said to me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.

8 你求我，我就將列國賜你為基業， 將地極賜你為田產。

Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

9 你必用鐵杖打破他們； 你必將他們如同窯匠的瓦器摔碎。

You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

10 現在，你們君王應當省悟！ 你們世上的審判官該受管教！

Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth.

11 當存畏懼事奉耶和華， 又當存戰兢而快樂。

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 當以嘴親子，恐怕他發怒， 你們便在道中滅亡， 因為他的怒氣快要發作。 凡投靠他的，都是有福的。

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
