詩篇 17
1 大衛的祈禱。 耶和華啊，求你聽聞公義， 側耳聽我的呼籲！ 求你留心聽我這不出於詭詐嘴唇的祈禱！
A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry; give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
2 願我的判語從你面前發出； 願你的眼睛觀看公正。
Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes look upon equity.
3 你已經試驗我的心； 你在夜間鑒察我； 你熬煉我，卻找不着甚麼； 我立志叫我口中沒有過失。
Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and findest nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
4 論到人的行為，我藉着你嘴唇的言語自己謹守， 不行強暴人的道路。
As for the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent.
5 我的腳踏定了你的路徑； 我的兩腳未曾滑跌。
My steps have held fast to thy paths, my feet have not slipped.
6 上帝啊，我曾求告你，因為你必應允我； 求你向我側耳，聽我的言語。
I have called upon thee, for thou wilt answer me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, [and] hear my speech.
7 求你顯出你奇妙的慈愛來； 你是那用右手拯救投靠你的脫離起來攻擊他們的人。
Shew thy marvelous lovingkindness, O thou that savest them which put their trust [in thee] from those that rise up [against them], by thy right hand.
8 求你保護我，如同保護眼中的瞳人； 將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下，
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
9 使我脫離那欺壓我的惡人， 就是圍困我要害我命的仇敵。
From the wicked that spoil me, my deadly enemies, that compass me about.
10 他們的心被脂油包裹； 他們用口說驕傲的話。
They are enclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
11 他們圍困了我們的腳步； 他們瞪着眼，要把我們推倒在地。
They have now compassed us in our steps: they set their eyes to cast [us] down to the earth.
12 他像獅子急要抓食， 又像少壯獅子蹲伏在暗處。
He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
13 耶和華啊，求你起來，前去迎敵，將他打倒！ 用你的刀救護我命脫離惡人。
Arise, O LORD, confront him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked by thy sword;
14 耶和華啊，求你用手救我脫離世人， 脫離那只在今生有福分的世人！ 你把你的財寶充滿他們的肚腹； 他們因有兒女就心滿意足， 將其餘的財物留給他們的嬰孩。
From men, by thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, whose portion is in [this] life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy treasure: they are satisfied with children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
15 至於我，我必在義中見你的面； 我醒了的時候，得見你的形像就心滿意足了。
As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
