詩篇 143
1 大衛的詩。 耶和華啊，求你聽我的禱告， 留心聽我的懇求， 憑你的信實和公義應允我。
Hear my prayer, O Yhwh, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 求你不要審問僕人； 因為在你面前，凡活着的人沒有一個是義的。
And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3 原來仇敵逼迫我， 將我打倒在地， 使我住在幽暗之處， 像死了許久的人一樣。
For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4 所以，我的靈在我裏面發昏； 我的心在我裏面悽慘。
Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 我追想古時之日， 思想你的一切作為， 默念你手的工作。
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 我向你舉手； 我的心渴想你， 如乾旱之地盼雨一樣。 (細拉)
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. (Selah)
7 耶和華啊，求你速速應允我！ 我心神耗盡！ 不要向我掩面， 免得我像那些下坑的人一樣。
Hear me speedily, O Yhwh: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 求你使我清晨得聽你慈愛之言， 因我倚靠你； 求你使我知道當行的路， 因我的心仰望你。
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 耶和華啊，求你救我脫離我的仇敵！ 我往你那裏藏身。
Deliver me, O Yhwh, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10 求你指教我遵行你的旨意， 因你是我的上帝。 你的靈本為善； 求你引我到平坦之地。
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 耶和華啊，求你為你的名將我救活， 憑你的公義，將我從患難中領出來，
Quicken me, O Yhwh, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 憑你的慈愛剪除我的仇敵， 滅絕一切苦待我的人， 因我是你的僕人。
And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
