詩篇 140

1 大衛的詩，交與伶長。 耶和華啊，求你拯救我脫離凶惡的人， 保護我脫離強暴的人！

To victorie, the salm of Dauith. Lord, delyuere thou me fro an yuel man; delyuere thou me fro a wickid man.

2 他們心中圖謀奸惡， 常常聚集要爭戰。

Whiche thouyten wickidnesses in the herte; al dai thei ordeyneden batels.

3 他們使舌頭尖利如蛇， 嘴裏有虺蛇的毒氣。 (細拉)

Thei scharpiden her tungis as serpentis; the venym of snakis vndir the lippis of hem.

4 耶和華啊，求你拯救我脫離惡人的手， 保護我脫離強暴的人！ 他們圖謀推我跌倒。

Lord, kepe thou me fro the hond of the synnere; and delyuere thou me fro wickid men. Which thouyten to disseyue my goyngis;

5 驕傲人為我暗設網羅和繩索； 他們在路旁鋪下網，設下圈套。 (細拉)

proude men hidden a snare to me. And thei leiden forth cordis in to a snare; thei settiden sclaundir to me bisidis the weie.

6 我曾對耶和華說：你是我的上帝。 耶和華啊，求你留心聽我懇求的聲音！

I seide to the Lord, Thou art mi God; Lord, here thou the vois of my biseching.

7 主－耶和華、我救恩的力量啊， 在爭戰的日子，你遮蔽了我的頭。

Lord, Lord, the vertu of myn heelthe; thou madist schadowe on myn heed in the dai of batel.

8 耶和華啊，求你不要遂惡人的心願； 不要成就他們的計謀，恐怕他們自高。 (細拉)

Lord, bitake thou not me fro my desire to the synnere; thei thouyten ayens me, forsake thou not me, lest perauenture thei ben enhaunsid.

9 至於那些昂首圍困我的人， 願他們嘴唇的奸惡陷害自己！

The heed of the cumpas of hem; the trauel of her lippis schal hile hem.

10 願火炭落在他們身上！ 願他們被丟在火中， 拋在深坑裏，不能再起來。

Colis schulen falle on hem, thou schalt caste hem doun in to fier; in wretchidnessis thei schulen not stonde.

11 說惡言的人在地上必堅立不住； 禍患必獵取強暴的人，將他打倒。

A man a greet ianglere schal not be dressid in erthe; yuels schulen take an vniust man in perisching.

12 我知道耶和華必為困苦人伸冤， 必為窮乏人辨屈。

I haue knowe, that the Lord schal make dom of a nedi man; and the veniaunce of pore men.

13 義人必要稱讚你的名； 正直人必住在你面前。

Netheles iust men schulen knouleche to thi name; and riytful men schulen dwelle with thi cheer.
