箴言 12
1 喜愛管教的，就是喜愛知識； 恨惡責備的，卻是畜類。
Whoso loveth knowledge loveth correction; but he that is brutish hateth reproof.
2 善人必蒙耶和華的恩惠； 設詭計的人，耶和華必定他的罪。
A good man shall obtain favour of the LORD; but a man of wicked devices will He condemn.
3 人靠惡行不能堅立； 義人的根必不動搖。
A man shall not be established by wickedness; but the root of the righteous shall never be moved.
4 才德的婦人是丈夫的冠冕； 貽羞的婦人如同朽爛在她丈夫的骨中。
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband; but she that doeth shamefully is as rottenness in his bones.
5 義人的思念是公平； 惡人的計謀是詭詐。
The thoughts of the righteous are right; but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6 惡人的言論是埋伏流人的血； 正直人的口必拯救人。
The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood; but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
7 惡人傾覆，歸於無有； 義人的家必站得住。
The wicked are overthrown, and are not; but the house of the righteous shall stand.
8 人必按自己的智慧被稱讚； 心中乖謬的，必被藐視。
A man shall be commended according to his intelligence; but he that is of a distorted understanding shall be despised.
9 被人輕賤，卻有僕人， 強如自尊，缺少食物。
Better is he that is lightly esteemed, and hath a servant, than he that playeth the man of rank, and lacketh bread.
10 義人顧惜他牲畜的命； 惡人的憐憫也是殘忍。
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast; but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
11 耕種自己田地的，必得飽食； 追隨虛浮的，卻是無知。
He that tilleth his ground shall have plenty of bread; but he that followeth after vain things is void of understanding.
12 惡人想得壞人的網羅； 義人的根得以結實。
The wicked desireth the prey of evil men; but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
13 惡人嘴中的過錯是自己的網羅； 但義人必脫離患難。
In the transgression of the lips is a snare to the evil man; but the righteous cometh out of trouble.
14 人因口所結的果子，必飽得美福； 人手所做的，必為自己的報應。
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the doings of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
15 愚妄人所行的，在自己眼中看為正直； 惟智慧人肯聽人的勸教。
The way of a fool is straight in his own eyes; but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsel.
16 愚妄人的惱怒立時顯露； 通達人能忍辱藏羞。
A fool's vexation is presently known; but a prudent man concealeth shame.
17 說出真話的，顯明公義； 作假見證的，顯出詭詐。
He that breatheth forth truth uttereth righteousness; but a false witness deceit.
18 說話浮躁的，如刀刺人； 智慧人的舌頭卻為醫人的良藥。
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword; but the tongue of the wise is health.
19 口吐真言，永遠堅立； 舌說謊話，只存片時。
The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
20 圖謀惡事的，心存詭詐； 勸人和睦的，便得喜樂。
Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil; but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
21 義人不遭災害；惡人滿受禍患。
There shall no mischief befall the righteous; but the wicked are filled with evil.
22 說謊言的嘴為耶和華所憎惡； 行事誠實的，為他所喜悅。
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD; but they that deal truly are His delight.
23 通達人隱藏知識； 愚昧人的心彰顯愚昧。
A prudent man concealeth knowledge; but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
24 殷勤人的手必掌權； 懶惰的人必服苦。
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful shall be under tribute.
25 人心憂慮，屈而不伸； 一句良言，使心歡樂。
Care in the heart of a man boweth it down; but a good word maketh it glad.
26 義人引導他的鄰舍； 惡人的道叫人失迷。
The righteous is guided by his friend; but the way of the wicked leadeth them astray.
27 懶惰的人不烤打獵所得的； 殷勤的人卻得寶貴的財物。
The slothful man shall not hunt his prey; but the precious substance of men is to be diligent.
28 在公義的道上有生命； 其路之中並無死亡。
In the way of righteousness is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
