路加福音 19
1 耶穌進了耶利哥，正經過的時候，
And having entered, He was passing through Jericho,
2 有一個人名叫撒該，作稅吏長，是個財主。
and behold, a man, by name called Zaccheus, and he was a chief tax collector, and he was rich,
3 他要看看耶穌是怎樣的人；只因人多，他的身量又矮，所以不得看見，
and he was seeking to see Jesus, who He is, and was not able for the multitude, because he was small in stature,
4 就跑到前頭，爬上桑樹，要看耶穌，因為耶穌必從那裏經過。
and having run forward before, he went up on a sycamore, that he may see Him, because through that [way] He was about to pass by.
5 耶穌到了那裏，抬頭一看，對他說：「撒該，快下來！今天我必住在你家裏。」
And as Jesus came up to the place, having looked up, He saw him and said to him, “Zaccheus, having hurried, come down, for it is necessary for Me to remain in your house today”;
6 他就急忙下來，歡歡喜喜地接待耶穌。
and he having hurried came down, and received Him rejoicing;
7 眾人看見，都私下議論說：「他竟到罪人家裏去住宿。」
and having seen [it], they were all murmuring, saying, “He went in to lodge with a sinful man!”
8 撒該站着對主說：「主啊，我把所有的一半給窮人；我若訛詐了誰，就還他四倍。」
And Zaccheus having stood, said to the LORD, “Behold, half of my goods, Lord, I give to the poor, and if I took by false accusation anything of anyone, I give back fourfold.”
9 耶穌說：「今天救恩到了這家，因為他也是亞伯拉罕的子孫。
And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation came to this house, inasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham;
10 人子來，為要尋找、拯救失喪的人。」
for the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
11 眾人正在聽見這些話的時候，耶穌因為將近耶路撒冷，又因他們以為上帝的國快要顯出來，就另設一個比喻，說：
And while they are hearing these things, having added He spoke an allegory, because of His being near to Jerusalem, and of their thinking that the Kingdom of God is immediately about to appear.
12 「有一個貴冑往遠方去，要得國回來，
He therefore said, “A certain man of birth went on to a far country, to take to himself a kingdom, and to return,
13 便叫了他的十個僕人來，交給他們十錠銀子，說：『你們去做生意，直等我回來。』
and having called ten servants of his own, he gave ten minas to them and said to them, Do business—until I come;
14 他本國的人卻恨他，打發使者隨後去，說：『我們不願意這個人作我們的王。』
and his citizens were hating him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not wish this one to reign over us.
15 他既得國回來，就吩咐叫那領銀子的僕人來，要知道他們做生意賺了多少。
And it came to pass, on his coming back, having taken the kingdom, that he commanded these servants to be called to him, to whom he gave the money, that he might know what anyone had done in business.
16 頭一個上來，說：『主啊，你的一錠銀子已經賺了十錠。』
And the first came near, saying, Lord, your mina gained ten minas;
17 主人說：『好！良善的僕人，你既在最小的事上有忠心，可以有權柄管十座城。』
and he said to him, Well done, good servant, because you became faithful in a very little, be having authority over ten cities.
18 第二個來，說：『主啊， 你的一錠銀子已經賺了五錠。』
And the second came, saying, Lord, your mina made five minas;
19 主人說：『你也可以管五座城。』
and he also said to this one, And you, become [ruler] over five cities.
20 又有一個來說：『主啊，看哪，你的一錠銀子在這裏，我把它包在手巾裏存着。
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, your mina, that I had lying away in a napkin;
21 我原是怕你，因為你是嚴厲的人；沒有放下的，還要去拿， 沒有種下的，還要去收。』
for I was afraid of you, because you are an austere man; you take up what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow.
22 主人對他說：『你這惡僕，我要憑你的口定你的罪。你既知道我是嚴厲的人，沒有放下的，還要去拿，沒有種下的，還要去收，
And he says to him, Out of your mouth I will judge you, evil servant: you knew that I am an austere man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow!
23 為甚麼不把我的銀子交給銀行，等我來的時候，連本帶利都可以要回來呢？』
And why did you not give my money to the bank, and I, having come, might have received it with interest?
24 就對旁邊站着的人說：『奪過他這一錠來，給那有十錠的。』
And to those standing by he said, Take the mina from him, and give to him having the ten minas—
25 他們說：『主啊，他已經有十錠了。』
(and they said to him, Lord, he has ten minas)—
26 主人說：『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要加給他；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。
for I say to you that to everyone having will be given, and from him not having, also what he has will be taken from him,
27 至於我那些仇敵，不要我作他們王的，把他們拉來，在我面前殺了吧！』」
but those my enemies, who did not wish me to reign over them, bring here and slay before me.”
28 耶穌說完了這話，就在前面走，上耶路撒冷去。
And having said these things, He went on before, going up to Jerusalem.
29 將近伯法其和伯大尼，在一座山名叫橄欖山那裏，就打發兩個門徒，說：
And it came to pass, as He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, to that called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,
30 「你們往對面村子裏去，進去的時候，必看見一匹驢駒拴在那裏，是從來沒有人騎過的，可以解開牽來。
having said, “Go away into the village in front of [you], in which, entering in, you will find a colt bound, on which no one of men ever sat, having loosed it, bring [it];
31 若有人問為甚麼解牠，你們就說：『主要用牠。』」
and if anyone questions you, Why do you loose [it]? Thus you will say to him: The LORD has need of it.”
32 打發的人去了，所遇見的正如耶穌所說的。
And those sent, having gone away, found according as He said to them,
33 他們解驢駒的時候，主人問他們說：「解驢駒做甚麼？」
and while they are loosing the colt, its owners said to them, “Why do you loose the colt?”
34 他們說：「主要用牠。」
And they said, “The LORD has need of it”;
35 他們牽到耶穌那裏，把自己的衣服搭在上面，扶着耶穌騎上。
and they brought it to Jesus, and having cast their garments on the colt, they sat Jesus on it.
36 走的時候，眾人把衣服鋪在路上。
And as He is going, they were spreading their garments in the way,
37 將近耶路撒冷，正下橄欖山的時候，眾門徒因所見過的一切異能，都歡樂起來，大聲讚美上帝，
and as He is coming near now, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began rejoicing to praise God with a great voice for all the mighty works they had seen,
38 說： 奉主名來的王是應當稱頌的！ 在天上有和平； 在至高之處有榮光。
saying, “Blessed [is] the King coming in the Name of the LORD; peace in Heaven, and glory in the highest!”
39 眾人中有幾個法利賽人對耶穌說：「夫子，責備你的門徒吧！」
And certain of the Pharisees from the multitude said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples”;
40 耶穌說：「我告訴你們，若是他們閉口不說，這些石頭必要呼叫起來。」
and He answering said to them, “I say to you that if these will be silent, the stones will cry out!”
41 耶穌快到耶路撒冷，看見城，就為它哀哭，
And when He came near, having seen the city, He wept over it,
42 說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。
saying, “If you knew, even you, at least in this your day, the things for your peace; but now they were hid from your eyes.
43 因為日子將到，你的仇敵必築起土壘，周圍環繞你，四面困住你，
Because days will come on you, and your enemies will cast a rampart around you, and surround you around, and press you on every side,
44 並要掃滅你和你裏頭的兒女，連一塊石頭也不留在石頭上，因你不知道眷顧你的時候。」
and lay you low, and your children within you, and they will not leave in you a stone on a stone, because you did not know the time of your inspection.”
45 耶穌進了殿，趕出裏頭做買賣的人，
And having entered into the temple, He began to cast forth those selling in it, and those buying,
46 對他們說：「經上說： 我的殿必作禱告的殿， 你們倒使它成為賊窩了。」
saying to them, “It has been written, My house is a house of prayer—but you made it a den of robbers.”
47 耶穌天天在殿裏教訓人。祭司長和文士與百姓的尊長都想要殺他，
And He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the scribes were seeking to destroy Him—also the chiefs of the people—
48 但尋不出法子來，因為百姓都側耳聽他。
and they were not finding what they will do, for all the people were hanging on Him, hearing Him.
