以賽亞書 45
1 我－耶和華所膏的塞魯士； 我攙扶他的右手， 使列國降伏在他面前。 我也要放鬆列王的腰帶， 使城門在他面前敞開， 不得關閉。 我對他如此說：
Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him — and I will loose the loins of kings; to open before him the two-leaved doors, and the gates shall not be shut:
2 我必在你前面行， 修平崎嶇之地。 我必打破銅門， 砍斷鐵閂。
I will go before thee, and make the elevated places plain; I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron;
3 我要將暗中的寶物和隱密的財寶賜給你， 使你知道提名召你的， 就是我－耶和華、以色列的上帝。
and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, [am] the God of Israel.
4 因我僕人雅各， 我所揀選以色列的緣故， 我就提名召你； 你雖不認識我， 我也加給你名號。
For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have called thee by thy name; I surnamed thee, though thou didst not know me;
5 我是耶和華，在我以外並沒有別神； 除了我以外再沒有上帝。 你雖不認識我， 我必給你束腰。
I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me;
6 從日出之地到日落之處 使人都知道除了我以外，沒有別神。 我是耶和華； 在我以外並沒有別神。
— that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else;
7 我造光，又造暗； 我施平安，又降災禍； 造作這一切的是我－耶和華。
forming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things.
8 諸天哪，自上而滴， 穹蒼降下公義； 地面開裂，產出救恩， 使公義一同發生； 這都是我－耶和華所造的。
Drop down, [ye] heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and with it let righteousness spring up. I, Jehovah, have created it.
9 禍哉，那與造他的主爭論的！ 他不過是地上瓦片中的一塊瓦片。 泥土豈可對摶弄它的說：你做甚麼呢？ 所做的物豈可說：你沒有手呢？
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?
10 禍哉，那對父親說： 你生的是甚麼呢？ 或對母親說： 你產的是甚麼呢？
Woe unto him that saith unto [his] father, What begettest thou? Or to [his] mother, What hast thou brought forth?
11 耶和華－以色列的聖者， 就是造就以色列的如此說： 將來的事，你們可以問我； 至於我的眾子，並我手的工作， 你們可以求我命定。
Thus saith Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me.
12 我造地，又造人在地上。 我親手鋪張諸天； 天上萬象也是我所命定的。
It is I that have made the earth, and created man upon it; it is I, my hands, that have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
13 我憑公義興起塞魯士， 又要修直他一切道路。 他必建造我的城， 釋放我被擄的民； 不是為工價，也不是為賞賜。 這是萬軍之耶和華說的。
It is I that have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith Jehovah of hosts.
14 耶和華如此說： 埃及勞碌得來的和古實的貨物必歸你； 身量高大的西巴人必投降你，也要屬你。 他們必帶着鎖鍊過來隨從你， 又向你下拜，祈求你說： 上帝真在你們中間，此外再沒有別神； 再沒有別的上帝。
Thus saith Jehovah: The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall walk after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying, ] Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, no other God. ...
15 救主－以色列的上帝啊， 你實在是自隱的上帝。
Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. ...
16 凡製造偶像的都必抱愧蒙羞， 都要一同歸於慚愧。
They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they shall go away in confusion together, the makers of idols.
17 惟有以色列必蒙耶和華的拯救， 得永遠的救恩。 你們必不蒙羞，也不抱愧， 直到永世無盡。
Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded, unto the ages of ages.
18 創造諸天的耶和華， 製造成全大地的上帝， 他創造堅定大地， 並非使地荒涼， 是要給人居住。 他如此說： 我是耶和華，再沒有別神。
For thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it, — not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited: — I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else.
19 我沒有在隱密黑暗之地說話； 我沒有對雅各的後裔說： 你們尋求我是徒然的。 我－耶和華所講的是公義， 所說的是正直。
I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I [am] Jehovah, speaking righteousness, declaring things which are right.
20 你們從列國逃脫的人， 要一同聚集前來。 那些抬着雕刻木偶、 禱告不能救人之神的， 毫無知識。
Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
21 你們要述說陳明你們的理， 讓他們彼此商議。 誰從古時指明？ 誰從上古述說？ 不是我－耶和華嗎？ 除了我以外，再沒有上帝； 我是公義的上帝，又是救主； 除了我以外，再沒有別神。
Declare and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? [who] hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour, there is none besides me.
22 地極的人都當仰望我， 就必得救； 因為我是上帝，再沒有別神。
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and there is none else.
23 我指着自己起誓， 我口所出的話是憑公義，並不反回： 萬膝必向我跪拜； 萬口必憑我起誓。
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
24 人論我說， 公義、能力，惟獨在乎耶和華； 人都必歸向他。 凡向他發怒的必至蒙羞。
Only in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
25 以色列的後裔都必因耶和華得稱為義， 並要誇耀。
In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
