何西阿書 9
1 以色列啊，不要像外邦人歡喜快樂； 因為你行邪淫離棄你的上帝， 在各穀場上如妓女喜愛賞賜。
Rejoice not, O Israel, unto exultation, like the peoples, for thou hast gone astray from thy God, thou hast loved a harlot's hire upon every corn-floor.
2 穀場和酒醡都不夠以色列人使用； 新酒也必缺乏。
The threshing-floor and the wine-press shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail her.
3 他們必不得住耶和華的地； 以法蓮卻要歸回埃及， 必在亞述吃不潔淨的食物。
They shall not dwell in the LORD'S land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.
4 他們必不得向耶和華奠酒， 即便奠酒也不蒙悅納。 他們的祭物必如居喪者的食物， 凡吃的必被玷污； 因他們的食物只為自己的口腹， 必不奉入耶和華的殿。
They shall not pour out wine-offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto Him; their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners, all that eat thereof shall be polluted; for their bread shall be for their appetite, it shall not come into the house of the LORD.
5 在大會的日子， 到耶和華的節期，你們怎樣行呢？
What will ye do in the day of the appointed season, and in the day of the feast of the LORD?
6 看哪，他們逃避災難； 埃及人必收殮他們的屍首， 摩弗人必葬埋他們的骸骨。 他們用銀子做的美物上必長蒺藜； 他們的帳棚中必生荊棘。
For, lo, they are gone away from destruction, yet Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them; their precious treasures of silver, nettles shall possess them, thorns shall be in their tents.
7 以色列人必知道降罰的日子臨近， 報應的時候來到。 民說：作先知的是愚昧； 受靈感的是狂妄， 皆因他們多多作孽，大懷怨恨。
The days of visitation are come, the days of recompense are come, Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool, the man of the spirit is mad! For the multitude of thine iniquity, the enmity is great.
8 以法蓮曾作我上帝守望的； 至於先知，在他一切的道上作為捕鳥人的網羅， 在他上帝的家中懷怨恨。
Ephraim is a watchman with my God; as for the prophet, a fowler's snare is in all his ways, and enmity in the house of his God.
9 以法蓮深深地敗壞， 如在基比亞的日子一樣。 耶和華必記念他們的罪孽， 追討他們的罪惡。
They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah; He will remember their iniquity, He will punish their sins.
10 主說：我遇見以色列如葡萄在曠野； 我看見你們的列祖如無花果樹上春季初熟的果子。 他們卻來到巴力‧毗珥專拜那可羞恥的， 就成為可憎惡的， 與他們所愛的一樣。
I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness, I saw your fathers as the first-ripe in the fig-tree at her first season; but so soon as they came to Baal-peor, they separated themselves unto the shameful thing, and became detestable like that which they loved.
11 至於以法蓮人，他們的榮耀必如鳥飛去， 必不生產，不懷胎，不成孕。
As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird; there shall be no birth, and none with child, and no conception.
12 縱然養大兒女， 我卻必使他們喪子，甚至不留一個。 我離棄他們，他們就有禍了。
Yea, though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there be not a man left; yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
13 我看以法蓮如泰爾栽於美地。 以法蓮卻要將自己的兒女帶出來， 交與行殺戮的人。
Ephraim, like as I have seen Tyre, is planted in a pleasant place; but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the slayer.
14 耶和華啊，求你加給他們－ 加甚麼呢？ 要使他們胎墜乳乾。
Give them, O LORD, whatsoever Thou wilt give; give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
15 耶和華說：他們一切的惡事都在吉甲； 我在那裏憎惡他們。 因他們所行的惡， 我必從我地上趕出他們去， 不再憐愛他們； 他們的首領都是悖逆的。
All their wickedness is in Gilgal, for there I hated them; because of the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of My house; I will love them no more, all their princes are rebellious.
16 以法蓮受責罰， 根本枯乾，必不能結果， 即或生產， 我必殺他們所生的愛子。
Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit; yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay the beloved fruit of their womb.
17 我的上帝必棄絕他們， 因為他們不聽從他； 他們也必飄流在列國中。
My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto Him; and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
