以西結書 9

1 他向我耳中大聲喊叫說：「要使那監管這城的人手中各拿滅命的兵器前來。」

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, "Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand."

2 忽然有六個人從朝北的上門而來，各人手拿殺人的兵器；內中有一人身穿細麻衣，腰間帶着墨盒子。他們進來，站在銅祭壇旁。

Look, six men came from the way of the Upper Gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in their midst clothed in linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.

3 以色列上帝的榮耀本在基路伯上，現今從那裏升到殿的門檻。上帝將那身穿細麻衣、腰間帶着墨盒子的人召來。

The glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writer's inkhorn by his side.

4 耶和華對他說：「你去走遍耶路撒冷全城，那些因城中所行可憎之事歎息哀哭的人，畫記號在額上。」

YHWH said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in its midst."

5 我耳中聽見他對其餘的人說：「要跟隨他走遍全城，以行擊殺。你們的眼不要顧惜，也不要可憐他們。

To the others he said in my hearing, "Go through the city after him, and strike: do not let your eye spare, neither have pity;

6 要將年老的、年少的，並處女、嬰孩，和婦女，從聖所起全都殺盡，只是凡有記號的人不要挨近他。」於是他們從殿前的長老殺起。

kill utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but do not come near any man on whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary." Then they began at the old men that were before the house.

7 他對他們說：「要污穢這殿，使院中充滿被殺的人。你們出去吧！」他們就出去，在城中擊殺。

He said to them, "Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth." They went forth, and struck in the city.

8 他們擊殺的時候，我被留下，我就俯伏在地，說：「哎！主耶和華啊，你將忿怒傾在耶路撒冷，豈要將以色列所剩下的人都滅絕嗎？」

It happened, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, "Ah, YHWH. Will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?"

9 他對我說：「以色列家和猶大家的罪孽極其重大。遍地有流血的事，滿城有冤屈，因為他們說：『耶和華已經離棄這地，他看不見我們。』

Then he said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion: for they say, 'YHWH has forsaken the land, and YHWH doesn't see.'

10 故此，我眼必不顧惜，也不可憐他們，要照他們所行的報應在他們頭上。」

As for me also, my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way on their head."

11 那穿細麻衣、腰間帶着墨盒子的人將這事回覆說：「我已經照你所吩咐的行了。」

Look, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, "I have done as you have commanded me."
