出埃及記 34
1 耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你要鑿出兩塊石版，和先前你摔碎的那版一樣；其上的字我要寫在這版上。
Yahweh said to Moses, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first tablets. I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets, the tablets that you broke.
2 明日早晨，你要預備好了，上西奈山，在山頂上站在我面前。
Be ready by morning and come up Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the mountain top.
3 誰也不可和你一同上去，遍山都不可有人，在山根也不可叫羊群牛群吃草。」
No one is to come up with you. Do not let anyone else be seen anywhere on the mountain. No flocks or herds are even to graze in front of the mountain.”
4 摩西就鑿出兩塊石版，和先前的一樣。清晨起來，照耶和華所吩咐的上西奈山去，手裏拿着兩塊石版。
So Moses cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and he got up early in the morning and went up Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had instructed him. Moses carried the tablets of stone in his hand.
5 耶和華在雲中降臨，和摩西一同站在那裏，宣告耶和華的名。
Yahweh came down in the cloud and stood with Moses there, and he pronounced the name “Yahweh.”
6 耶和華在他面前宣告說：「耶和華，耶和華，是有憐憫有恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛和誠實，
Yahweh passed by before him and proclaimed, “Yahweh, Yahweh, God is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in covenant faithfulness and trustworthiness,
7 為千萬人存留慈愛，赦免罪孽、過犯，和罪惡，萬不以有罪的為無罪，必追討他的罪，自父及子，直到三、四代。」
keeping covenant faithfulness for thousands of generations, forgiving iniquities, transgressions, and sins. But he will by no means clear the guilty. He will bring the punishment for the fathers' sin on their children and on their children's children, as far as the third and fourth generations.”
8 摩西急忙伏地下拜，
Moses quickly bowed his head to the ground and worshiped.
9 說：「主啊，我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你在我們中間同行，因為這是硬着頸項的百姓。又求你赦免我們的罪孽和罪惡，以我們為你的產業。」
Then he said, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, my Lord, please go among us, for this people is stubborn. Pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.”
10 耶和華說：「我要立約，要在百姓面前行奇妙的事，是在遍地萬國中所未曾行的。在你四圍的外邦人就要看見耶和華的作為，因我向你所行的是可畏懼的事。
Yahweh said, “See, I am about to make a covenant. Before all your people, I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth nor in any nation. All the people among you will see my deeds, for it is a fearful thing that I am doing with you.
11 「我今天所吩咐你的，你要謹守。我要從你面前攆出亞摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人。
Obey what I command you today. I am about to drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.
12 你要謹慎，不可與你所去那地的居民立約，恐怕成為你們中間的網羅；
Be careful not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, or they will become a trap among you.
13 卻要拆毀他們的祭壇，打碎他們的柱像，砍下他們的木偶。
Instead, you must break down their altars, smash their stone pillars, and cut down their Asherah poles.
14 不可敬拜別神；因為耶和華是忌邪的上帝，名為忌邪者。
For you must worship no other god, for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
15 只怕你與那地的居民立約，百姓隨從他們的神，就行邪淫，祭祀他們的神，有人叫你，你便吃他的祭物，
So be careful not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for they prostitute themselves to their gods, and they sacrifice to their gods. Then one of them will invite you and you will eat some of his sacrifice,
16 又為你的兒子娶他們的女兒為妻，他們的女兒隨從她們的神，就行邪淫，使你的兒子也隨從她們的神行邪淫。
and then you will even take some of his daughters for your sons, and his daughters will prostitute themselves to their gods, and they will make your sons prostitute themselves to their gods.
17 「不可為自己鑄造神像。
Do not make for yourselves gods of molten metal.
18 「你要守除酵節，照我所吩咐你的，在亞筆月內所定的日期吃無酵餅七天，因為你是這亞筆月內出了埃及。
You must keep the Festival of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you must eat bread without yeast for seven days at the fixed time in the month of Aviv, for it was in the month of Aviv you came out from Egypt.
19 凡頭生的都是我的；一切牲畜頭生的，無論是牛是羊，公的都是我的。
All the firstborn are mine, even every male firstborn of your cattle, both of oxen and sheep.
20 頭生的驢要用羊羔代贖，若不代贖就要打折牠的頸項。凡頭生的兒子都要贖出來。誰也不可空手朝見我。
You must buy back the firstborn of a donkey with a lamb, but if you do not buy it back, then you must break its neck. You must buy back all the firstborn of your sons. No one may appear before me empty-handed.
21 「你六日要做工，第七日要安息，雖在耕種收割的時候也要安息。
You may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. Even at plowing time and in harvest, you must rest.
22 在收割初熟麥子的時候要守七七節；又在年底要守收藏節。
You must observe the Festival of Weeks with the first yield of the wheat harvest, and you must observe the Festival of Ingathering at the year's end.
23 你們一切男丁要一年三次朝見主耶和華－以色列的上帝。
Three times a year all your men must appear before Lord Yahweh, the God of Israel.
24 我要從你面前趕出外邦人，擴張你的境界。你一年三次上去朝見耶和華－你上帝的時候，必沒有人貪慕你的地土。
For I will drive out nations before you and expand your borders. No one will desire to have your land as their own when you go up to appear before Yahweh your God three times in a year.
25 「你不可將我祭物的血和有酵的餅一同獻上。逾越節的祭物也不可留到早晨。
You must not offer the blood of my sacrifice with any yeast, nor may any meat from the sacrifice at the Festival of the Passover be left over to the morning.
26 地裏首先初熟之物要送到耶和華－你上帝的殿。不可用山羊羔母的奶煮山羊羔。」
You must bring the best of the firstfruits from your fields to my house. You must not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.”
27 耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你要將這些話寫上，因為我是按這話與你和以色列人立約。」
Yahweh said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
28 摩西在耶和華那裏四十晝夜，也不吃飯也不喝水。耶和華將這約的話，就是十條誡，寫在兩塊版上。
Moses was there with Yahweh for forty days and nights; he did not eat any food nor drink any water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
29 摩西手裏拿着兩塊法版下西奈山的時候，不知道自己的面皮因耶和華和他說話就發了光。
When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant decrees in his hand, he did not know that the skin of his face had become radiant while speaking with God.
30 亞倫和以色列眾人看見摩西的面皮發光就怕挨近他。
When Aaron and the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face was shining, and they were afraid to come near him.
31 摩西叫他們來；於是亞倫和會眾的官長都到他那裏去，摩西就與他們說話。
But Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the leaders of the community came up to him. Then Moses spoke with them.
32 隨後以色列眾人都近前來，他就把耶和華在西奈山與他所說的一切話都吩咐他們。
After this, all the people of Israel came up to Moses, and he told them all the commands that Yahweh had given him on Mount Sinai.
33 摩西與他們說完了話就用帕子蒙上臉。
When Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face.
34 但摩西進到耶和華面前與他說話就揭去帕子，及至出來的時候便將耶和華所吩咐的告訴以色列人。
Whenever Moses went before Yahweh to speak with him, he would remove the veil, until he came out. When he came out, he would tell the Israelites what he was commanded to say.
35 以色列人看見摩西的面皮發光。摩西又用帕子蒙上臉，等到他進去與耶和華說話就揭去帕子。
When the Israelites saw Moses' face shining, he would put the veil over his face again until he went back in to speak with Yahweh.
