但以理書 10
1 波斯王塞魯士第三年，有事顯給稱為伯提沙撒的但以理。這事是真的，是指着大爭戰；但以理通達這事，明白這異象。
In the third year of Koresh king of Persia a word was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the word was true: a great war. And he understood the word, and had understanding of the vision.
2 當那時，我－但以理悲傷了三個七日。
In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three whole weeks.
3 美味我沒有吃，酒肉沒有入我的口，也沒有用油抹我的身，直到滿了三個七日。
I had no pleasing food, neither meat nor wine came into my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4 正月二十四日，我在底格里斯大河邊，
In the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is the Tigris,
5 舉目觀看，見有一人身穿細麻衣，腰束烏法精金帶。
I lifted up my eyes and looked, and look, a man clothed in linen, around his waist a belt made of pure gold from Uphaz.
6 他身體如水蒼玉，面貌如閃電，眼目如火把，手和腳如光明的銅，說話的聲音如大眾的聲音。
His body was like beryl, and his face like the appearance of lightning, and his eyes like flaming torches, and his arms and his feet like burnished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.
7 這異象惟有我－但以理一人看見，同着我的人沒有看見。他們卻大大戰兢，逃跑隱藏，
I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great trembling fell on them, and they fled to hide themselves.
8 只剩下我一人。我見了這大異象便渾身無力，面貌失色，毫無氣力。
So I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me; for my natural appearance grew deathly pale, and I retained no strength.
9 我卻聽見他說話的聲音，一聽見就面伏在地沉睡了。
Yet I heard the sound of his words, and when I heard the sound of his words, then I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face toward the ground.
10 忽然，有一手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌支持微起。
Look, a hand touched me, which set me on my knees and on the palms of my hands.
11 他對我說：「大蒙眷愛的但以理啊，要明白我與你所說的話，只管站起來，因為我現在奉差遣來到你這裏。」他對我說這話，我便戰戰兢兢地立起來。
He said to me, "Daniel, man greatly loved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright; for I have now been sent to you." And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
12 他就說：「但以理啊，不要懼怕！因為從你第一日專心求明白將來的事，又在你上帝面前刻苦己心，你的言語已蒙應允；我是因你的言語而來。
Then he said to me, "Do not be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you did set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. And I have come because of your words.
13 但波斯國的魔君攔阻我二十一日。忽然有大君中的一位米迦勒來幫助我，我就停留在波斯諸王那裏。
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but, look, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was left there with the kings of Persia.
14 現在我來，要使你明白本國之民日後必遭遇的事，因為這異象關乎後來許多的日子。」
Now I have come to make you understand what shall happen to your people in the latter days; for the vision refers to future days."
15 他向我這樣說，我就臉面朝地，啞口無聲。
And when he had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground, and could not speak.
16 不料，有一位像人的，摸我的嘴唇，我便開口向那站在我面前的說：「我主啊，因見這異象，我大大愁苦，毫無氣力。
And look, something like a man's hand touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, "My lord, it is because of the vision anguish has come upon me, and I have no strength.
17 我主的僕人怎能與我主說話呢？我一見異象就渾身無力，毫無氣息。」
For how can this servant of my lord talk with my lord? As for me, no strength remains, and I am breathless."
18 有一位形狀像人的又摸我，使我有力量。
Then one like the appearance of a man touched me again and strengthened me.
19 他說：「大蒙眷愛的人哪，不要懼怕，願你平安！你總要堅強。」他一向我說話，我便覺得有力量，說：「我主請說，因你使我有力量。」
And he said, "Greatly loved man, do not be afraid, peace be to you; be strong, be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said, "Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me."
20 他就說：「你知道我為何來見你嗎？現在我要回去與波斯的魔君爭戰，我去後，希臘的魔君必來。
Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go forth, look, the prince of Greece shall come.
21 但我要將那錄在真確書上的事告訴你。除了你們的大君米迦勒之外，沒有幫助我抵擋這兩魔君的。」
But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the Book of Truth. And there is no one who contends with me against them except Michael, your prince."
