诗篇 143
1 大卫的诗。 耶和华啊，求你听我的祷告， 留心听我的恳求， 凭你的信实和公义应允我。
A Psalm of David, when his son pursued him. O Lord, attend to my prayer: hearken to my supplication in thy truth; hear me in thy righteousness.
2 求你不要审问仆人； 因为在你面前，凡活着的人没有一个是义的。
And enter not into judgment with thy servant, for in thy sight shall no [man] living be justified.
3 原来仇敌逼迫我， 将我打倒在地， 使我住在幽暗之处， 像死了许久的人一样。
For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has brought my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in a dark [place], as those that have been long dead.
4 所以，我的灵在我里面发昏； 我的心在我里面凄惨。
Therefore my spirit was grieved in me; my heart was troubled within me.
5 我追想古时之日， 思想你的一切作为， 默念你手的工作。
I remembered the days of old; and I meditated on all thy doings: [yea], I meditated on the works of thine hands.
6 我向你举手； 我的心渴想你， 如干旱之地盼雨一样。 (细拉)
I spread forth my hands to thee; my soul [thirsts] for thee, as a dry land. (Pause)
7 耶和华啊，求你速速应允我！ 我心神耗尽！ 不要向我掩面， 免得我像那些下坑的人一样。
Hear me speedily, O Lord; my spirit has failed; turn not away thy face from me, else I shall be like to them that go down to the pit.
8 求你使我清晨得听你慈爱之言， 因我倚靠你； 求你使我知道当行的路， 因我的心仰望你。
Cause me to hear thy mercy in the morning; for I have hoped in thee; make known to me, O Lord, the way wherein I should walk; for I have lifted up my soul to thee.
9 耶和华啊，求你救我脱离我的仇敌！ 我往你那里藏身。
Deliver me from mine enemies, O Lord; for I have fled to thee for refuge.
10 求你指教我遵行你的旨意， 因你是我的 神。 你的灵本为善； 求你引我到平坦之地。
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God; thy good Spirit shall guide me in the straight [way].
11 耶和华啊，求你为你的名将我救活， 凭你的公义，将我从患难中领出来，
Thou shalt quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake; in thy righteousness thou shalt bring my soul out of affliction.
12 凭你的慈爱剪除我的仇敌， 灭绝一切苦待我的人， 因我是你的仆人。
And in thy mercy thou wilt destroy mine enemies, and wilt destroy all those that afflict my soul; for I am thy servant.
