箴言 13
1 智慧子听父亲的教训； 亵慢人不听责备。
A wise son is instructed of his father; but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
2 人因口所结的果子，必享美福； 奸诈人必遭强暴。
A man shall eat good from the fruit of his mouth; but the desire of the faithless is violence.
3 谨守口的，得保生命； 大张嘴的，必致败亡。
He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; but for him that openeth wide his lips there shall be ruin.
4 懒惰人羡慕，却无所得； 殷勤人必得丰裕。
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be abundantly gratified.
5 义人恨恶谎言； 恶人有臭名，且致惭愧。
A righteous man hateth lying; but a wicked man behaveth vilely and shamefully.
6 行为正直的，有公义保守； 犯罪的，被邪恶倾覆。
Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7 假作富足的，却一无所有； 装作穷乏的，却广有财物。
There is that pretendeth himself rich, yet hath nothing; there is that pretendeth himself poor, yet hath great wealth.
8 人的资财是他生命的赎价； 穷乏人却听不见威吓的话。
The ransom of a man's life are his riches; but the poor heareth no threatening.
9 义人的光明亮； 恶人的灯要熄灭。
The light of the righteous rejoiceth; but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
10 骄傲只启争竞； 听劝言的，却有智慧。
By pride cometh only contention; but with the well-advised is wisdom.
11 不劳而得之财必然消耗； 勤劳积蓄的，必见加增。
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished; but he that gathereth little by little shall increase.
12 所盼望的迟延未得，令人心忧； 所愿意的临到，却是生命树。
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
13 藐视训言的，自取灭亡； 敬畏诫命的，必得善报。
Whoso despiseth the word shall suffer thereby; but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14 智慧人的法则是生命的泉源， 可以使人离开死亡的网罗。
The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
15 美好的聪明使人蒙恩； 奸诈人的道路崎岖难行。
Good understanding giveth grace; but the way of the faithless is harsh.
16 凡通达人都凭知识行事； 愚昧人张扬自己的愚昧。
Every prudent man dealeth with forethought; but a fool unfoldeth folly.
17 奸恶的使者必陷在祸患里； 忠信的使臣乃医人的良药。
A wicked messenger falleth into evil; but a faithful ambassador is health.
18 弃绝管教的，必致贫受辱； 领受责备的，必得尊荣。
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction; but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19 所欲的成就，心觉甘甜； 远离恶事，为愚昧人所憎恶。
The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; and it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20 与智慧人同行的，必得智慧； 和愚昧人作伴的，必受亏损。
He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but the companion of fools shall smart for it.
21 祸患追赶罪人； 义人必得善报。
Evil pursueth sinners; but to the righteous good shall be repaid.
22 善人给子孙遗留产业； 罪人为义人积存资财。
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
23 穷人耕种多得粮食， 但因不义，有消灭的。
Much food is in the tillage of the poor; but there is that is swept away by want of righteousness.
24 不忍用杖打儿子的，是恨恶他； 疼爱儿子的，随时管教。
He that spareth his rod hateth his son; but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25 义人吃得饱足； 恶人肚腹缺粮。
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his desire; but the belly of the wicked shall want.
