耶利米哀歌 5
1 耶和华啊，求你记念我们所遭遇的事， 观看我们所受的凌辱。
Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2 我们的产业归与外邦人； 我们的房屋归与外路人。
Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3 我们是无父的孤儿； 我们的母亲好像寡妇。
We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.
4 我们出钱才得水喝； 我们的柴是人卖给我们的。
We drank our water for money; our wood is sold to us.
5 追赶我们的，到了我们的颈项上； 我们疲乏不得歇息。
Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest.
6 我们投降埃及人和亚述人， 为要得粮吃饱。
We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
7 我们列祖犯罪，而今不在了； 我们担当他们的罪孽。
Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.
8 奴仆辖制我们， 无人救我们脱离他们的手。
Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.
9 因为旷野的刀剑， 我们冒着险才得粮食。
We got our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.
10 因饥饿燥热， 我们的皮肤就黑如炉。
Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.
11 敌人在锡安玷污妇人， 在犹大的城邑玷污处女。
They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah.
12 他们吊起首领的手， 也不尊敬老人的面。
Princes are hanged by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured.
13 少年人扛磨石， 孩童背木柴，都绊跌了。
They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.
14 老年人在城门口断绝； 少年人不再作乐。
The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.
15 我们心中的快乐止息， 跳舞变为悲哀。
The joy of our heart hath ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
16 冠冕从我们的头上落下； 我们犯罪了，我们有祸了！
The crown is fallen from our head: woe to us, that we have sinned!
17 这些事我们心里发昏， 我们的眼睛昏花。
For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.
18 锡安山荒凉， 野狗行在其上。
Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
19 耶和华啊，你存到永远； 你的宝座存到万代。
Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
20 你为何永远忘记我们？ 为何许久离弃我们？
Why dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time?
21 耶和华啊，求你使我们向你回转， 我们便得回转。 求你复新我们的日子，像古时一样。
Turn thou us to thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
22 你竟全然弃绝我们， 向我们大发烈怒？
But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very angry with us.
