士师记 17
1 以法莲山地有一个人名叫米迦。
There was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
2 他对母亲说：“你那一千一百舍客勒银子被人拿去，你因此咒诅，并且告诉了我。看哪，这银子在我这里，是我拿去了。”他母亲说：“我儿啊，愿耶和华赐福与你！”
And he said to his mother, "The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears, look, the silver is with me; I took it, but now I will restore it to you." And his mother said, "Blessed be my son by the LORD."
3 米迦就把这一千一百舍客勒银子还他母亲。他母亲说：“我分出这银子来为你献给耶和华，好雕刻一个像，铸成一个像。现在我还是交给你。”
And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, "I most certainly dedicate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make an engraved image and a molten image."
4 米迦将银子还他母亲，他母亲将二百舍客勒银子交给银匠，雕刻一个像，铸成一个像，安置在米迦的屋内。
When he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made of it an engraved image and a molten image: and it was in the house of Micah.
5 这米迦有了神堂，又制造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一个儿子作祭司。
The man Micah had a house of God, and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his cohen.
6 那时以色列中没有王，各人任意而行。
In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
7 犹大的伯利恒有一个少年人，是犹大族的利未人，他在那里寄居。
There was a young man out of Bethlehem Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he lived there.
8 这人离开犹大的伯利恒城，要找一个可住的地方。行路的时候，到了以法莲山地，走到米迦的家。
The man departed out of the city, out of Bethlehem Judah, to live where he could find a place, and he came to the hill country of Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he traveled.
9 米迦问他说：“你从哪里来？”他回答说：“从犹大的伯利恒来。我是利未人，要找一个可住的地方。”
Micah said to him, "Where did you come from?" He said to him, "I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am going to settle wherever I may find a place."
10 米迦说：“你可以住在我这里，我以你为父、为祭司。我每年给你十舍客勒银子，一套衣服和度日的食物。”利未人就进了他的家。
Micah said to him, "Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a cohen, and I will give you ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of clothing, and your food." So the Levite went in.
11 利未人情愿与那人同住；那人看这少年人如自己的儿子一样。
The Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.
12 米迦分派这少年的利未人作祭司，他就住在米迦的家里。
Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his cohen, and was in the house of Micah.
13 米迦说：“现在我知道耶和华必赐福与我，因我有一个利未人作祭司。”
Then Micah said, "Now I know that the LORD will do good to me, seeing I have a Levite as my cohen."
