耶利米书 25
1 犹大王约西亚的儿子约雅敬第四年，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的元年，耶和华论犹大众民的话临到耶利米。
The word which came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, which was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon;
2 先知耶利米就将这话对犹大众人和耶路撒冷的一切居民说：
which Jeremiah the prophet spake to all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: —
3 “从犹大王亚们的儿子约西亚十三年直到今日，这二十三年之内，常有耶和华的话临到我；我也对你们传说，就是从早起来传说，只是你们没有听从。
From the thirteenth year of Josiah, the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, for three and twenty years, the word of Jehovah hath come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
4 耶和华也从早起来，差遣他的仆人众先知到你们这里来（只是你们没有听从，也没有侧耳而听），
Also Jehovah hath sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
5 说：‘你们各人当回头，离开恶道和所作的恶，便可居住耶和华古时所赐给你们和你们列祖之地，直到永远。
“Turn ye now,” said they, “every one from your evil way, and from your evil doings, and ye shall dwell in the land which Jehovah gave to you and to your fathers for ever and ever.
6 不可随从别神事奉敬拜，以你们手所做的惹我发怒；这样，我就不加害与你们。
And go not after strange gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.”
7 然而你们没有听从我，竟以手所做的惹我发怒，陷害自己。这是耶和华说的。’”
But ye have not hearkened to me, saith Jehovah, that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
8 所以万军之耶和华如此说：“因为你们没有听从我的话，
Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Because ye have not hearkened to my words,
9 我必召北方的众族和我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来攻击这地和这地的居民，并四围一切的国民。我要将他们尽行灭绝，以致他们令人惊骇、嗤笑，并且永久荒凉。这是耶和华说的。
behold, I will send and take all the nations of the North, saith Jehovah, and Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and a perpetual desolation.
10 我又要使欢喜和快乐的声音，新郎和新妇的声音，推磨的声音和灯的亮光，从他们中间止息。
Yea, I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the mill-stones, and the light of the lamp.
11 这全地必然荒凉，令人惊骇。这些国民要服事巴比伦王七十年。
And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
12 七十年满了以后，我必刑罚巴比伦王和那国民，并迦勒底人之地，因他们的罪孽使那地永远荒凉。这是耶和华说的。
But when seventy years shall have passed, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation for their iniquity, saith Jehovah, and the land of the Chaldaeans, and I will make it a perpetual desolation.
13 我也必使我向那地所说的话，就是记在这书上的话，是耶利米向这些国民说的预言，都临到那地。
And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
14 因为有多国和大君王必使迦勒底人作奴仆；我也必照他们的行为，按他们手所做的报应他们。”
For they, even they, shall be brought into subjection to many nations and great kings. I will render to them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.
15 耶和华—以色列的 神对我如此说：“你从我手中接这杯忿怒的酒，使我所差遣你去的各国的民喝。
For thus hath Jehovah, the God of Israel, said to me: Take this cup of the wine of wrath from my hand; and let all the nations to which I shall send thee drink of it.
16 他们喝了就要东倒西歪，并要发狂，因我使刀剑临到他们中间。”
Let them drink, and stagger, and become mad because of the sword which I am about to send among them.
17 我就从耶和华的手中接了这杯，给耶和华所差遣我去的各国的民喝，
So I took the cup from the hand of Jehovah, and gave it to all the nations to drink, to which Jehovah sent me;
18 就是耶路撒冷和犹大的城邑，并耶路撒冷的君王与首领，使这城邑荒凉，令人惊骇、嗤笑、咒诅，正如今日一样。
to Jerusalem and to the cities of Judah, and to the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, and an astonishment, and a hissing, and a curse; [[as it is this day.]]
19 又有埃及王法老和他的臣仆、首领，以及他的众民，
To Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and to his servants, and to his princes, and to all his people,
20 并杂族的人民和乌斯地的诸王，与非利士地的诸王（亚实基伦、迦萨、以革伦，以及亚实突剩下的人）；
and all the allied people; and to all the kings of the land of Uz, and to all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and to Askelon, and to Gaza, and to Ekron, and to the remnant of Ashdod;
21 以东、摩押、亚扪人、
to Edom, and to Moab, and to the children of Ammon;
22 泰尔的诸王、西顿的诸王、海岛的诸王、
and to all the kings of Tyre, and to all the kings of Sidon, and to the kings of the lands which are beyond the sea;
23 底但、提玛、布斯，和一切剃周围头发的；
to Dedan, and to Tema, and to Buz, and to all that shave the cheek;
24 阿拉伯的诸王、住旷野杂族人民的诸王、
and to all the kings of Arabia, and to all the kings of the allied people who dwell in the desert;
25 心利的诸王、以拦的诸王、米底亚的诸王、
and to all the kings of Zimri, and to all the kings of Elam, and to all the kings of Media;
26 北方远近的诸王，以及天下地上的万国喝了，以后示沙克王也要喝。
and to all the kings of the North, those that are near, and those that are afar off with respect to each other, and to all the kingdoms of the earth which are upon the face of the ground; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
27 “你要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华—以色列的 神如此说：你们要喝，且要喝醉，要呕吐，且要跌倒，不得再起来，都因我使刀剑临到你们中间。’
And say to them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye and be drunken, and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword which I am about to send among you.
28 “他们若不肯从你手接这杯喝，你就要对他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：你们一定要喝！
And if they refuse to take the cup from thy hand to drink, then say to them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ye shall surely drink!
29 我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能尽免刑罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上一切的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。’
For behold, upon the city which is called by my name I begin to bring evil; and shall ye go wholly unpunished? Ye shall not go unpunished; for I am about to call the sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts.
30 “所以你要向他们预言这一切的话，攻击他们，说： 耶和华必从高天吼叫， 从圣所发声， 向自己的羊群大声吼叫； 他要向地上一切的居民呐喊， 像踹葡萄的一样。
Therefore, prophesy against them all these words, and say to them: —Jehovah shall roar from on high, From his holy habitation shall he utter his voice; He shall roar aloud against his dwelling-place; A shout like that of vintagers shall he raise Against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 必有响声达到地极， 因为耶和华与列国相争； 凡有血气的，他必审问； 至于恶人，他必交给刀剑。 这是耶和华说的。
An outcry shall reach to the ends of the earth; For Jehovah hath a controversy with the nations; He entereth into judgment with all flesh; The wicked will he give up to the sword, saith Jehovah.
32 万军之耶和华如此说： 看哪，必有灾祸从这国发到那国， 并有大暴风从地极刮起。
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, And a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the extremities of the earth.
33 “到那日，从地这边直到地那边都有耶和华所杀戮的。必无人哀哭，不得收殓，不得葬埋，必在地上成为粪土。
At that day shall the slain of Jehovah lie From one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; They shall not be lamented, nor gathered, nor buried; They shall be dung upon the ground.
34 牧人哪，你们当哀号，呼喊； 群众的头目啊，你们要滚在灰中； 因为你们被杀戮分散的日子足足来到。 你们要跌碎，好像美器打碎一样。
Howl, O ye shepherds, and cry! Roll yourselves in the dust, ye leaders of the flock, For your time to be slaughtered has come! And I will scatter you, and ye shall fall like a goodly vessel.
35 牧人无路逃跑； 群众的头目也无法逃脱。
The shepherds shall have no way to flee, Nor the leaders of the flock to escape.
36 听啊，有牧人呼喊， 有群众头目哀号的声音， 因为耶和华使他们的草场变为荒场。
[[Hark!]] the voice of the cry of the shepherds, And the wailing of the leaders of the flock, Because Jehovah layeth waste their pasture!
37 耶和华发出猛烈的怒气， 平安的羊圈就都寂静无声。
Yea, the peaceful pastures are destroyed Because of the fierce anger of Jehovah.
38 他离了隐密处像狮子一样， 他们的地，因刀剑凶猛的欺压， 又因他猛烈的怒气都成为可惊骇的。”
He hath left, like a lion, his covert; For their land is become desolate, Because of the wrath of the destroying sword, And because of the fierceness of his anger.
