何西阿书 12
1 以法莲吃风，且追赶东风， 时常增添虚谎和强暴， 与亚述立约，把油送到埃及。
EPHRAIM feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
2 耶和华与犹大争辩， 必照雅各所行的惩罚他， 按他所做的报应他。
The Lord hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
3 他在腹中抓住哥哥的脚跟， 壮年的时候与 神较力，
He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:
4 与天使较力，并且得胜， 哭泣恳求， 在伯特利遇见耶和华。 耶和华—万军之 神在那里晓谕我们以色列人； 耶和华是他可记念的名。
Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Beth-el, and there he spake with us;
Even the Lord God of hosts; the Lord is his memorial.
6 所以你当归向你的 神， 谨守仁爱、公平，常常等候你的 神。
Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.
7 以法莲是商人， 手里有诡诈的天平，爱行欺骗。
He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress.
8 以法莲说： 我果然成了富足，得了财宝； 我所劳碌得来的， 人必不见有什么不义，可算为罪的。
And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.
9 自从你出埃及地以来， 我就是耶和华—你的 神； 我必使你再住帐棚，如在大会的日子一样。
And I that am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
10 我已晓谕众先知， 并且加增默示， 借先知设立比喻。
I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.
11 基列人没有罪孽吗？ 他们全然是虚假的。 人在吉甲献牛犊为祭， 他们的祭坛好像田间犁沟中的乱堆。
Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.
12 从前雅各逃到亚兰地， 以色列为得妻服事人， 为得妻与人放羊。
And Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.
13 耶和华借先知领以色列从埃及上来； 以色列也借先知而得保存。
And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
14 以法莲大大惹动主怒， 所以他流血的罪必归在他身上。 主必将那因以法莲所受的羞辱归还他。
Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord return unto him.
