何西阿书 10
1 以色列是茂盛的葡萄树，结果繁多。 果子越多，就越增添祭坛； 地土越肥美，就越造美丽的柱像。
Israel was a luxuriant vine, which put forth fruit freely: as his fruit increased, he increased his altars; the more goodly his land was, the more goodly were his pillars.
2 他们心怀二意， 现今要定为有罪。 耶和华必拆毁他们的祭坛， 毁坏他们的柱像。
Their heart is divided; now shall they bear their guilt; He will break down their altars, He will spoil their pillars.
3 他们必说：我们没有王， 因为我们不敬畏耶和华。 王能为我们做什么呢？
Surely now shall they say: 'We have no king; for we feared not the LORD; and the king, what can he do for us?'
4 他们为立约说谎言，起假誓； 因此，灾罚如苦菜滋生在田间的犁沟中。
They speak words, they swear falsely, they make covenants; thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
5 撒马利亚的居民必因伯·亚文的牛犊惊恐； 崇拜牛犊的民和喜爱牛犊的祭司 都必因荣耀离开它，为它悲哀。
The inhabitants of Samaria shall be in dread for the calves of Beth-aven; for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof shall tremble for it, for its glory, because it is departed from it.
6 人必将牛犊带到亚述当作礼物， 献给耶雷布王。 以法莲必蒙羞； 以色列必因自己的计谋惭愧。
It also shall be carried unto Assyria, for a present to King Contentious; Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
7 至于撒马利亚，她的王必灭没， 如水面的沫子一样。
As for Samaria, her king is cut off, as foam upon the water.
8 伯·亚文的邱坛— 就是以色列取罪的地方必被毁灭； 荆棘和蒺藜必长在他们的祭坛上。 他们必对大山说：遮盖我们！ 对小山说：倒在我们身上！
The high places also of Aven shall be destroyed, even the sin of Israel. The thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains: 'Cover us', and to the hills: 'Fall on us.'
9 以色列啊， 你从基比亚的日子以来时常犯罪。 你们的先人曾站在那里， 现今住基比亚的人 以为攻击罪孽之辈的战事临不到自己。
From the days of Gibeah thou hast sinned, O Israel; there they stood; no battle was to overtake them in Gibeah, nor the children of arrogancy.
10 我必随意惩罚他们。 他们为两样的罪所缠； 列邦的民必聚集攻击他们。
When it is My desire, I will chastise them; and the peoples shall be gathered against them, when they are yoked to their two rings.
11 以法莲是驯良的母牛犊，喜爱踹谷， 我却将轭加在它肥美的颈项上， 我要使以法莲拉套。 犹大必耕田； 雅各必耙地。
And Ephraim is a heifer well broken, that loveth to thresh, and I have passed over upon her fair neck; I will make Ephraim to ride, Judah shall plow, Jacob shall break his clods.
12 你们要为自己栽种公义， 就能收割慈爱。 现今正是寻求耶和华的时候； 你们要开垦荒地，等他临到， 使公义如雨降在你们身上。
Sow to yourselves according to righteousness, reap according to mercy, break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, till He come and cause righteousness to rain upon you.
13 你们耕种的是奸恶， 收割的是罪孽， 吃的是谎话的果子。 因你倚靠自己的行为， 仰赖勇士众多，
Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity, ye have eaten the fruit of lies; for thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
14 所以在这民中必有哄嚷之声， 你一切的保障必被拆毁， 就如沙勒幔在争战的日子拆毁伯·亚比勒， 将其中的母子一同摔死。
Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy hosts, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Beth-arbel in the day of battle; the mother was dashed in pieces with her children.
15 因他们的大恶， 伯特利必使你们遭遇如此。 到了黎明，以色列的王必全然灭绝。
So hath Beth-el done unto you because of your great wickedness; at daybreak is the king of Israel utterly cut off.
