申命记 34
1 摩西从摩押平原登尼波山，上了那与耶利哥相对的毗斯迦山顶。耶和华把基列全地直到但，
Therefore, Moses ascended from the plains of Moab onto Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, opposite Jericho. And the Lord revealed to him the entire land of Gilead, as far as Dan,
2 拿弗他利全地，以法莲、玛拿西的地，犹大全地直到西海，
and all of Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and the entire land of Judah, even to the furthest sea,
3 南地和棕树城耶利哥的平原，直到琐珥，都指给他看。
and the southern region, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho, the city of palms, as far as Zoar.
4 耶和华对他说：“这就是我向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，说：‘我必将这地赐给你的后裔。’现在我使你眼睛看见了，你却不得过到那里去。”
And the Lord said to him: “This is the land, about which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to your offspring. You have seen it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over to it.”
5 于是，耶和华的仆人摩西死在摩押地，正如耶和华所说的。
And Moses, the servant of the Lord, died in that place, in the land of Moab, by order of the Lord.
6 耶和华将他埋葬在摩押地、伯·毗珥对面的谷中，只是到今日没有人知道他的坟墓。
And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab, opposite Peor. And no man knows where his sepulcher is, even to the present day.
7 摩西死的时候年一百二十岁；眼目没有昏花，精神没有衰败。
Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dimmed, nor were his teeth displaced.
8 以色列人在摩押平原为摩西哀哭了三十日，为摩西居丧哀哭的日子就满了。
And the sons of Israel wept for him in the plains of Moab for thirty days. And then the days of their wailing, during which they mourned Moses, were completed.
9 嫩的儿子约书亚；因为摩西曾按手在他头上，就被智慧的灵充满，以色列人便听从他，照着耶和华吩咐摩西的行了。
Truly, Joshua, the son of Nun, was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the sons of Israel were obedient to him, and they did as the Lord instructed Moses.
10 以后以色列中再没有兴起先知像摩西的。他是耶和华面对面所认识的。
And no other prophet rose up in Israel like Moses, one whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 耶和华打发他在埃及地向法老和他的一切臣仆，并他的全地，行各样神迹奇事，
one with all the signs and wonders, which he sent through him, to perform in the land of Egypt, against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land,
12 又在以色列众人眼前显大能的手，行一切大而可畏的事。
nor one with such a powerful hand and such great miracles as Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
