申命记 30
1 “我所陈明在你面前的这一切咒诅都临到你身上；你在耶和华—你 神追赶你到的万国中必心里追念祝福的话；
And it shall come to pass, when all these things shall come in upon thee—the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, —and thou shalt bring them back unto thy heart among all the nations whither Yahweh thy God hath driven thee;
2 你和你的子孙若尽心尽性归向耶和华—你的 神，照着我今日一切所吩咐的听从他的话；
and thou shalt return unto Yahweh thy God and shalt hearken unto his voice, according to all that I am commanding thee to-day, —thou and thy sons, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
3 那时，耶和华—你的 神必怜恤你，救回你这被掳的子民；耶和华—你的 神要回转过来，从分散你到的万民中将你招聚回来。
then will Yahweh thy God bring back thy captivity and have compassion upon thee, —and return and gather thee from among all the peoples whither Yahweh thy God hath scattered thee.
4 你被赶散的人，就是在天涯的，耶和华—你的 神也必从那里将你招聚回来。
Though thou be driven out unto the utmost part of the heavens, from thence, will Yahweh thy God gather thee, and, from thence will he fetch thee;
5 耶和华—你的 神必领你进入你列祖所得的地，使你可以得着；又必善待你，使你的人数比你列祖众多。
and Yahweh thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it, —and he will do thee good and multiply thee beyond thy fathers.
6 耶和华—你 神必将你心里和你后裔心里的污秽除掉，好叫你尽心尽性爱耶和华—你的 神，使你可以存活。
And Yahweh thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, —to love Yahweh thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
7 耶和华—你的 神必将这一切咒诅加在你仇敌和恨恶你、逼迫你的人身上。
And Yahweh thy God will put all these oaths upon thine enemies and upon them who hated thee who persecuted thee.
8 你必归回，听从耶和华的话，遵行他的一切诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的。
But, thou, wilt return, and hearken unto the voice of Yahweh, —and wilt do all his commandments, which I am commanding thee, to-day,
9 你若听从耶和华—你 神的话，谨守这律法书上所写的诫命律例，又尽心尽性归向耶和华—你的 神，他必使你手里所办的一切事，并你身所生的，牲畜所下的，地土所产的，都绰绰有余；因为耶和华必再喜悦你，降福与你，像从前喜悦你列祖一样。
And Yahweh thy God will make thee pre-eminent, in every work of thy hand—in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle and in the fruit of thy ground, for good, —for Yahweh will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
if thou hearken unto the voice of Yahweh thy God, to keep his commandments, and his statutes, which are written in this scroll of the law, —if thou return unto Yahweh thy God, with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
11 “我今日所吩咐你的诫命不是你难行的，也不是离你远的；
For as touching this commandment, which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not, too wonderful, for thee, neither is it far off.
12 不是在天上，使你说：‘谁替我们上天取下来，使我们听见可以遵行呢？’
It is, not in the heavens, —that thou shouldest say—Who shall ascend for us into the heavens that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 也不是在海外，使你说：‘谁替我们过海取了来，使我们听见可以遵行呢？’
Neither is it, over the sea, —that thou shouldest say, Who will pass over for us to the other side of the sea, that he may fetch it for us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 这话却离你甚近，就在你口中，在你心里，使你可以遵行。
But, near unto thee, is the word, exceedingly, —in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
15 “看哪，我今日将生与福，死与祸，陈明在你面前。
See! I have set before thee, to-day, life and prosperity, —and death and calamity;
16 吩咐你爱耶和华—你的 神，遵行他的道，谨守他的诫命、律例、典章，使你可以存活，人数增多，耶和华—你 神就必在你所要进去得为业的地上赐福与你。
for thou must keep the commandments of Yahweh thy God which I am commanding thee to-day, to love Yahweh thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes, and his regulations, —so shalt thou live and multiply, and Yahweh thy God will bless thee, in the land which thou art entering to possess.
17 倘若你心里偏离，不肯听从，却被勾引去敬拜事奉别神，
But, if thy heart shall turn away, and thou wilt, not hearken, —but shalt be drawn away, and shalt bow thyself down to other gods and serve them,
18 我今日明明告诉你们，你们必要灭亡；在你过约旦河、进去得为业的地上，你的日子必不长久。
I declare unto you, to-day, that ye shall perish, —ye shall not prolong your days, upon the soil which thou art passing over the Jordan to enter and possess.
19 我今日呼天唤地向你作见证；我将生死祸福陈明在你面前，所以你要拣选生命，使你和你的后裔都得存活；
I call to witness against you to-day, the heavens and the earth, that life and death, have I set before thee, the blessing and the curse, —therefore shouldest thou choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed;
20 且爱耶和华—你的 神，听从他的话，专靠他；因为他是你的生命，你的日子长久也在乎他。这样，你就可以在耶和华向你列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许所赐的地上居住。”
to love Yahweh thy God, to hearken unto his voice, and to cleave unto him, —for, he, is thy life, and thy length of days, that thou mayest abide upon the soil which Yahweh sware to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give unto them.
