阿摩司书 1
1 当犹大王乌西雅，以色列王约阿施的儿子耶罗波安在位的时候，大地震前二年，提哥亚牧人中的阿摩司得默示论以色列。
The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, —of which (words) he had vision concerning Israel, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2 他说：耶和华必从锡安吼叫， 从耶路撒冷发声； 牧人的草场要悲哀； 迦密的山顶要枯干。
So then he said—Yahweh, out of Zion, will roar, and, out of Jerusalem, will utter his voice, —and the pastures of the shepherds, shall mourn, and the top of Carmel, be dried up.
3 耶和华如此说： 大马士革三番四次地犯罪， 我必不免去她的刑罚； 因为她以打粮食的铁器打过基列。
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Damascus, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because, with threshing instruments of iron, they have threshed Gilead.
4 我却要降火在哈薛的家中， 烧灭便·哈达的宫殿。
Therefore will send a fire, into the house of Hazael, —which shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad;
5 我必折断大马士革的门闩， 剪除亚文平原的居民和伯·伊甸掌权的。 亚兰人必被掳到吉珥。 这是耶和华说的。
And I will break the bolt of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant out of the plain of Aven, and the holder of the sceptre out of the house of Eden, —and the people of Syria, shall be exiled, unto Kir, saith Yahweh.
6 耶和华如此说： 迦萨三番四次地犯罪， 我必不免去她的刑罚； 因为她掳掠众民交给以东。
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Gaza, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their taking into exile the whole body of exiles, to deliver to Edom,
7 我却要降火在迦萨的城内， 烧灭其中的宫殿。
Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, —which shall devour the palaces thereof;
8 我必剪除亚实突的居民和亚实基伦掌权的， 也必反手攻击以革伦。 非利士人所余剩的必都灭亡。 这是主耶和华说的。
And I will cut off the inhabitant out of Ashdod, and the holder of the sceptre out of Ashkelon, —and will turn my hand against Ekron, So shall perish the remnant of the Philistines, saith My Lord, Yahweh.
9 耶和华如此说： 泰尔三番四次地犯罪， 我必不免去她的刑罚； 因为她将众民交给以东， 并不记念弟兄的盟约。
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Tyre, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their delivering up the whole body of exiles to Edom, and they remembered not the brotherly covenant,
10 我却要降火在泰尔的城内， 烧灭其中的宫殿。
Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, —which shall devour the palaces thereof.
11 耶和华如此说： 以东三番四次地犯罪， 我必不免去她的刑罚； 因为她拿刀追赶兄弟，毫无怜悯， 发怒撕裂，永怀忿怒。
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Edom, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because he pursued, with the sword, his brother, and stifled his compassions, and his anger tare in pieces evermore, and, his indignation, kept watch perpetually,
12 我却要降火在提幔， 烧灭波斯拉的宫殿。
Therefore will I send a fire into Teman, —which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
13 耶和华如此说： 亚扪人三番四次地犯罪， 我必不免去他们的刑罚； 因为他们剖开基列的孕妇， 扩张自己的境界。
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of the sons of Ammon, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their ripping up the pregnant women of Gilead, that they might enlarge their own boundary,
14 我却要在争战呐喊的日子， 旋风狂暴的时候， 点火在拉巴的城内， 烧灭其中的宫殿。
Therefore will I kindle a fire upon the wall of Rabbah, which shall devour the palaces thereof, —with a war-cry in the day of battle, with tempest in the day of storm-wind;
15 他们的王和首领必一同被掳去。 这是耶和华说的。
And Milcom shall go into exile, —he and his rulers together, saith Yahweh.
