Noah. The sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 雅弗的儿子是歌篾、玛各、玛代、雅完、土巴、米设、提拉。
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 歌篾的儿子是亚实基拿、低法、陀迦玛。
The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
7 雅完的儿子是以利沙、他施、基提、多单。
The sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 含的儿子是古实、麦西、弗、迦南。
The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 古实的儿子是西巴、哈腓拉、撒弗他、拉玛、撒弗提迦。拉玛的儿子是示巴、底但。
The sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

Cush became the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty hunter on the earth.
11 麦西生路低人、亚拿米人、利哈比人、拿弗土希人、
Mizraim became the father of Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 帕斯鲁细人、迦斯路希人、迦斐托人；从迦斐托出来的有非利士人。
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines), and Caphtorim.
13 迦南生长子西顿，又生赫
Canaan became the father of Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 和耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、
and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, and the Girgashites,
15 希未人、亚基人、西尼人、
and the Hivites, and the Arkites, and the Sinites,
16 亚瓦底人、洗玛利人，并哈马人。
and the Arvadites, and the Zemarites, and the Hamathites.
17 闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法 撒、路德、亚兰、乌斯、户勒、基帖、米设。
The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram. And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
18 亚法撒生沙拉；沙拉生希伯。
Arpachshad became the father of Kenan, and Kenan became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.
19 希伯生了两个儿子：一个名叫法勒，因为那时人就分地居住；法勒的兄弟名叫约坍。
To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 约坍生亚摩答、沙列、哈萨玛非、耶拉、
Joktan became the father of Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 哈多兰、乌萨、德拉、
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 以巴录、亚比玛利、示巴、
and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 阿斐、哈腓拉、约巴。这都是约坍的儿子。
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 闪生亚法撒；亚法撒生沙拉；
Shem, Arpachshad, Kenan, Shelah,
25 沙拉生希伯；希伯生法勒；法勒生拉吴；
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 拉吴生西鹿；西鹿生拿鹤；拿鹤生他拉；
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 他拉生亚伯兰，亚伯兰就是亚伯拉罕。
Abram (that is, Abraham).
28 亚伯拉罕的儿子是以撒、以实玛利。
The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
29 以实玛利的儿子记在下面：以实玛利的长子是尼拜约，其次是基达、押德别、米比衫、
These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 米施玛、度玛、玛撒、哈达、提玛、
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 伊突、拿非施、基底玛。这都是以实玛利的儿子。
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 亚伯拉罕的妾基土拉所生的儿子，就是心兰、约珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴、书亚。约珊的儿子是示巴、底但。
The sons of Keturah, Abraham's secondary wife: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33 米甸的儿子是以法、以弗、哈诺、亚比大、以勒大。这都是基土拉的子孙。
The sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 亚伯拉罕生以撒；以撒的儿子是以扫和以色列。
Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
35 以扫的儿子是以利法、流珥、耶乌施、雅兰、可拉。
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 以利法的儿子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦、基纳斯、亭纳、亚玛力。
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, Kenaz; and by Timna: Amalek.
37 流珥的儿子是拿哈、谢拉、沙玛、米撒。
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 西珥的儿子是罗坍、朔巴、祭便、亚拿、底顺、以察、底珊。
The sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 罗坍的儿子是何利、荷幔；罗坍的妹子是亭纳。
The sons of Lotan: Hori, and Hemam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 朔巴的儿子是亚勒文、玛拿辖、以巴录、示非、阿南。祭便的儿子是亚雅、亚拿。
The sons of Shobal: Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.

The sons of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Keran.

Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
45 约巴死了，提幔地的人户珊接续他作王。
Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
46 户珊死了，比达的儿子哈达接续他作王。这哈达就是在摩押地杀败米甸人的，他的京城名叫亚未得。
Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
47 哈达死了，玛士利加人桑拉接续他作王。
Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
48 桑拉死了，大河边的利河伯人扫罗接续他作王。
Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth-ha-Nahar reigned in his place.

Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.

Baal Hanan died, and Hadad son of Bedad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab.

Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
52 亚何利巴玛族长、以拉族长、比嫩族长、
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53 基纳斯族长、提幔族长、米比萨族长、
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54 玛基叠族长、以兰族长。这都是以东人的族长。
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
