撒迦利亞書 4

1 [第五個神視：金燈台和兩棵葡萄樹]那與我談話的使者又來喚醒我，如喚醒夢中人一樣；

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

2 衪問我說：「你看見了什麼﹖」我回答說：「我看見，啊! 一座純金的燈台，頂上有一個油壺和七盞燈，頂端那七盞燈具有七條導管。

And said to me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick: all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [were] upon the top of it.

3 而燈台兩旁有兩棵橄欖樹，一左一右。

And two olive-trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side].

4 我便問那與我談話的使者說：「我主，那是什麼意思﹖」

So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord?

5 那與我談話的使者回答我說：「你不知道那是什麼意思嗎﹖」我說：「我主，我不知道。」

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said to me, Knowest thou not what these are? and I said, No, my lord.

6 他向我說：「

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

7 這七盞燈就是那遍察全地的上主的眼睛，」

Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth [its] head-stone [with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace, to it.

8 我又問他說：「這燈台左右的兩棵橄欖樹是意思﹖」

Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

9 我再問他說：「這兩根經兩個金管流出黃金色油的橄欖樹枝，是什麼意思﹖

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me to you.

10 他對我說：「你不知道這是什麼意思嗎﹖」我回答說：「我主，不知道。」

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

11 他說：「這是侍立在全地的主宰面前的兩位受傅者。」[以下號碼與上衝突]：

Then I answered, and said to him, What [are] these two olive-trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon its left [side]?

12 這是上主關於則魯巴貝耳所說的話：不是藉權勢，不是藉能力，而是藉我的神能──萬軍的上主說。

And I answered again, and said to him, What [are these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves?

13 大山啊! 你算得什麼﹖在則魯巴貝耳面前，你必化為平地! 他要在「好啊! 好啊!」的歡呼聲中搬出角石。

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [are]? And I said, No, my lord.

14 上主的話傳給我說：則魯巴貝耳的手奠定了這殿宇的基礎，他的手也要完成這工程：這樣你們便知道：是萬軍的上主差遺了我到你們這裏來。

Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

15 因為誰敢為了事業開端的微小，就輕視這一天呢﹖當他們看到則魯巴貝耳手中拿出笠石時，就要高興喜悅了。
