撒迦利亞書 2
1 我又舉目觀看，望見有一個人手裏拿著繩墨│。
And I lifted up my eyes, and looked. And, behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2 我問他說：「你往哪裏去﹖」他回答我說：「我要去測量耶路撒冷，看她有多寬多長。」
Then I said, Where do thou go? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem. To see what is the breadth of it, and what is the length of it.
3 正當那與我談話的使者出來時，另一位使者出來迎上他，
And, behold, the agent who talked with me went forth. And another agent went out to meet him,
4 他他說：「你跑去告訴那青年人說：耶路撒冷將成為無邊際的區域，因為其中的人畜太多了!
and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and cattle therein.
5 至於我，我要作她四周的火牆，──上主的斷語──作他中間的榮耀!」
For I, says Jehovah, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.
6 快! 快! 你們快從北地逃跑──上主的斷語，因為我要從天下四方聚集你們──上主的斷語。
Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, says Jehovah. For I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, says Jehovah.
7 住在巴比倫的熙雍，快快逃避，
Ho Zion, escape, thou who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.
8 因為那為顯示自己的光榮，派遺我來的萬軍的上主，對那些劫掠你們的異民──因為凡觸動你們的，就是觸勫衪的眼珠──這樣說：
For thus says Jehovah of hosts: After glory he has sent me to the nations which plundered you. For he who touches you touches the apple of his eye.
9 看，我只要在你們身上一揮勫我的手，他們便要成為自己奴隸的掠物；如此，你們便知道：是萬軍的上主派遺了我。
For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those who served them. And ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts has sent me.
10 熙雍女子，歡呼喜樂吧! 因為我要來住在你們中間──上主的斷語。
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, says Jehovah.
11 在那一天，有許多民族要歸依上主，要成為衪的百姓，並住在你們中間；這樣你們便知道：是萬軍的上主派遺了我到你們這裏來。
And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be my people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee. And thou shall know that Jehovah of hosts has sent me to thee.
12 上主必在聖地內佔據猶大作的產業，衪仍要揀選耶路撒冷。
And Jehovah shall inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
13 凡有血肉的，在上主面前應肅靜! 因為衪已由衪的聖所起身。
Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah, for he has arisen out of his holy habitation.
