詩篇 1

1 【善惡二路】凡不隨從惡人的計謀，不插足於罪人的道路，不參與譏諷者的席位，

BOOK FIRST: Happy is the man who walketh not in the council of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners;

2 專心愛好上主法律的，畫夜默思上主誡命的，這樣的人才是有福的！

But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who doth meditate in his law by day and night.

3 他像植在溪畔的樹木，準時結果，枝葉不枯，所作所為，隨心所欲。

And he shall be like a tree planted by rivulets of water, that yieldeth its fruit in its season, and the leaf of which doth not wither; and all that he may do shall prosper.

4 惡人卻不如此，絕不如此! 他們像被風吹散的糠秕。

Not so the wicked; but they are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 在審判的時日，惡人站立不住；在義人的會中，罪人不能立足：

Therefore shall the wicked not be able to stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 因上主賞識義人的行徑，惡人的行徑必自趨沉淪

For the Lord regardeth the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked leadeth to perdition.
