詩篇 85

1 詠【求賜平安與幸福】 科辣黑子孫的詩歌，交於樂官。 天主，您對您的地域已加垂憐，且將雅各伯的命改善；

For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. You showed favor to Your land, O LORD; You restored Jacob from captivity.

2 赦免了您百姓的罪愆，遮掩了他們所有的過犯；

You forgave the iniquity of Your people; You covered all their sin.

3 抑制了您怒氣的火燄。

You withheld all Your fury; You turned from Your burning anger.

4 天主，我們的救主，求您復興我們，求您從我們身上消除您的氣憤。

Restore us, O God of our salvation, and put away Your displeasure toward us.

5 您豈能永遠向我們發怒？世世代代發洩您的憤怒？

Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to all generations?

6 難道不是您使我們復生？使您的子民因您而歡欣？

Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?

7 上主，求您向我們顯示您的救恩。

Show us Your loving devotion, O LORD, and grant us Your salvation.

8 我要聽天主上主說的話：祂向自己的聖者和子民，以及向祂回心轉意的人，所說的話確實是和平綸音。

I will listen to what God the LORD will say; for He will surely speak peace to His people and His saints; He will not let them return to folly.

9 祂的救恩必接近敬箋愛祂的人，為使我們在地上久存。

Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that His glory may dwell in our land.

10 仁愛和忠信必彼此相親。

Loving devotion and faithfulness have joined together; righteousness and peace have kissed.

11 忠信從地下生出，正義由天上遠矚。

Faithfulness sprouts from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.

12 上主必賜下安康幸福；我們的土地必有豐收穫。

The LORD will indeed provide what is good, and our land will yield its increase.

13 正義在上主前面行走，救恩必隨同上主的腳步。

Righteousness will go before Him to prepare the way for His steps.
