詩篇 84

1 詠【朝拜上主歌】 科辣黑子孫的詩歌，交於樂官。調寄「加特」。 萬軍的上主，您的居所是多麼可愛！

For the leader. On the gittith. Of the Korahites, a psalm. How dearly loved is the place where you live, Lord of hosts!

2 我的心靈對上主的宮庭渴慕及緬懷。我的心靈及肉身向生活的天主踴躍歡欣。

How I long and yearn for the courts of the Lord. Now heart and flesh cry for joy to the living God.

3 萬軍的上主，我的君王，我的天主，麻雀您的祭壇找到了住所，燕子也找到了安置 幼雛的窩巢。

Even the sparrow has found her a home and the swallow a nest, to lay her young, near your altar, Lord of hosts, my king and my God.

4 上主，居住在您的殿宇，時常讚美您的，真是有福！

Happy those who live in your house, praising you evermore. (Selah)

5 那以您作為自己的助佑，居心朝聖的人，真是有福！

Happy those whose strength is in you, people with pilgrim hearts.

6 他們把他們經過的乾谷變為水泉，並以初雨給乾谷披上祝福的衣衫。

As they pass through the valley of tears, they make it a place of fountains, clothed with the blessings of early rain.

7 他們的體力越行越壯，來到熙雍覲見至高天主。

From rampart to rampart on they march, till at last God reveals himself in Zion.

8 萬軍的上主，求您允我的懇請，雅各伯的天主，求您側耳傾聽！

Lord, God of hosts, hear my prayer, attend, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

9 天主，我們的護盾，求您目睹，請對您的受傅者予以回顧。

Behold, O God, our defender, and look upon your anointed,

10 的確在您的聖殿逗留一日，遠勝過在別處逗千日。我寧願站在我天主殿宇的門限，我不願逗留在惡人帳幕的裏面，

for better a single day in your courts than a thousand in my own chambers: better stand at the door of the house of my God than live in the tents of ungodliness,

11 因為上主天主是護盾。上主常廣施恩愛和光榮；祂對行為正直純潔的人，從來不會拒絕賜祐賜福。

for the Lord is sun and shield, the Lord gives grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from the life that is blameless.

12 萬軍的上主，依賴您的人，那人才是真有福的。

Lord of hosts, happy those whose trust is in you.
