< 詩篇 81 >

1 詠【慶節的歌詠】阿撒夫的詩歌,交與樂官。調寄「加特」。 請眾向助佑我們的天主歌舞,向雅各伯的天主歡呼。
“To the chief musician upon Gittith; by Assaph.” Sing aloud unto God our strength: shout joyfully unto the God of Jacob.
2 請眾高唱新歌,手擊鐃鼓,和彈琴瑟,奏悅耳的樂譜。
Lift up psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
3 在月朔之日和月圓之夜,在我們的慶節,吹起號角,
Blow on the new moon the cornet, at the time appointed, on the day of our feast.
4 因為這是以色列的規定,是雅各伯的天主誡命,
For this is a statute for Israel, an ordinance by the God of Jacob.
5 當他出擊埃及國時,給若瑟立了這法規。我聽到從未聽的諾言:
As a testimony in Joseph did he ordain it, when he went out over the land of Egypt. The language of one I had not known did I hear.
6 我救他的肩脫離重擔,又使他的手放下筐籃。
I removed from the burden his shoulder: his hands left behind the burden-basket.
7 您在患難中呼喊,我救了你,從雷鳴雲彩中,我答應你;在默黎巴,我試探了你。
In distress thou didst call, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret of the thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
8 請聽,我的百姓,我要警告你!以色列!恨不得你能聽從我:
Hear, O my people, and I will give warning unto thee; O Israel, if thou wouldst but hearken unto me!
9 在您中間不應有別的神,千萬不可崇拜邦的神!
There shall not be among thee a foreign God; nor shalt thou bow thyself down to any strange God.
10 我是上主,我是你的天主,是我由埃及國將你領出,你張開口,我要使你滿足。
I am the Lord thy God, who have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: open wide thy mouth, and I will fill it.
11 可惜我的百姓沒有您的呼聲,以色列人也沒有服從我的命令。
But my people did not hearken to my voice; and Israel was not willing [to follow] me.
12 因此,我就任憑他們的心靈頑硬,讓他們隨的私意而行。
So I let them go in the stubbornness of their own hearts: and they walked in their own counsels.
13 如果我的聽了我的命令,以色列人隨從我的道路而行,
Oh that my people would hearken unto me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
14 立刻就會壓迫他們的敵人,轉過手打擊難為他們的仇人。
In a little while would I subdue their enemies, and against their adversaries would I turn my hand.
15 仇恨上主的人必來向他們歸順,仇人的厄運從此要永久常存。
The haters of the Lord should offer flattery unto him; but their time should endure for ever.
16 但我要以麥子的精華養育選民,以石中的蜂蜜飽享他們。
And he would feed him with the best of wheat: and out of the rock would I satisfy thee with honey.
