詩篇 72
1 天主，求您給君王傳授您的權柄，求您給太子傳授您的公正。
Give the king your judgments, O God, and your righteousness unto the king's son.
2 使他照正義統治您的百姓，使他按公道管理您的平民。
He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment.
3 願高山給人民帶來和平；願丘嶺為百姓送來公正！
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
4 他必衛護百姓中的窮人，救助窮苦人的子孫，蹂躪欺壓人的暴民。
He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
5 祂要與日月共存，世世代代無窮盡。
They shall fear you as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
6 祂降臨如落在草原上的喜雨，又如潤澤田地的甘露。
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
7 在祂的歲月中，正義必要興盛，到處國泰民安，直至月亮失明。
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.
8 祂將統治大地，從這海到那海，由大河的流域，至地極的邊界。
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
9 祂的仇敵將向他屈膝跪拜，和祂作對的人要舌舔塵埃。
They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 塔爾史士和群島的眾王要獻上禮品，舍巴和色巴的君王，也都要前來進貢。
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 眾王都要崇拜祂，萬民都要事奉祂。
Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
12 祂必拯救哀號的貧民，祂必扶持無援的窮人。
For he shall deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him that has no helper.
13 祂將憐恤不幸和貧乏的群眾，祂要救護窮苦貧病者的生命。
He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
14 祂要救他們脫離殘暴與壓迫，他們的血在祂眼中珍貴無比。
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
15 願祂常存！願眾人向祂奉獻舍巴黃金，願眾人時常向祂祈禱，不斷向祂求恩！
And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
16 田地裏所出產的五穀百果必將豐盈，山嶺上的收成也要富饒有如黎巴嫩，城市的人必要昌盛有如地上的草茵。
There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
17 祂的名號常存，永受讚揚；祂的名號永留，與日爭光。萬邦要因祂而得福，萬民要稱祂為有福。
His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
18 願上主天主，以色列的天主享受讚頌，因為只有上主作出了奇妙的化工。
Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things.
19 願上主光榮的名號永受讚美，願上主的榮耀充滿整個大地！阿們！阿們！
And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
