詩篇 63

1 達味詩歌，作於飄流在猶大曠野時。 天主，您是我的天主，我急切祈求您；我的靈魂渴慕您，我的肉身切望您，我有如一塊乾旱涸竭的無水田地。

“A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.” O God! thou art my God! earnestly do I seek thee! My soul thirsteth, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry, thirsty land. where is no water!

2 我在聖殿裏瞻仰過您，為看到您的威能和您的光輝；

Thus I look toward thee in thy sanctuary, To behold thy power and thy glory!

3 您的慈愛比生命更為寶貴，我的唇舌要時常稱頌您。

For thy loving-kindness is better than life; Therefore my lips shall praise thee!

4 我要一生一世讚美您，我要因您的名把手舉起！

Thus will I bless thee, while I live; In thy name will I lift up my hands!

5 我的心靈好像飽享了膏脂，我要以歡愉的口唇讚美您。

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And with joyful lips my mouth shall praise thee,

6 我在床上想起了您，徹夜不眠地默想著您。

When I think of thee upon my bed, And meditate on thee in the night-watches.

7 因為您作了我的助佑，我要在您的羽翼下歡舞。

For thou art my help, And in the shadow of thy wings I rejoice.

8 我的心靈緊緊追隨您，您的右手常常扶持著我。

My soul cleaveth to thee; Thy right hand holdeth me up.

9 那些謀圖陷害我命的人，必將墜落在地下的深層；

While they who seek to destroy my life Shall themselves go down into the depths of the earth.

10 他們必為刀劍所殺死，也必然為野犬所分食。

They shall be given up to the sword, And be a portion for jackals.

11 但是君王必要因天主而喜慶；凡以天主宣誓的人，必要自幸，因為說謊的口，必要瘖啞失聲。

But the king shall rejoice in God; All that swear by him shall be honored; But the mouth of liars shall be stopped.
