詩篇 38
1 達味紀念歌。 上主，求你不要在你的震怒中責罰我，求你不要在你的氣憤中懲戒我。
A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 因為你的箭射中了我，你的手重壓了我。
For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
3 因了你的盛怒，我已體無完膚；因了我的罪行，我已粉身碎骨。
There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.
4 因為我的罪過高出我的頭頂，好似重擔把我壓得過分沉重。
For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
5 我的創痍漬爛流膿，完全由於我的愚矇。
My wounds stink and are corrupt, because of my foolishness.
6 我悲傷得身已傴僂，終日行動滿懷憂愁。
I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
7 因為我的腰肢焦灼難受，我的肉體已無完膚。
For my loins are filled with burning; and there is no soundness in my flesh.
8 我已筋疲力盡，奄奄一息；我已心痛欲絕，嗟嘆不已。
I am faint and sore bruised: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
9 我主，我的呻吟常在你的面前，我的悲歎不向你隱瞞；
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
10 我的心顫慄，我的精力衰退，我眼目的光明也已消逝。
My heart throbbeth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
11 我遭難時，我的友朋都袖手旁觀，我的親人都站得很遠。
My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
12 追尋我命的人，張設網羅，設法害我的人，散布惡謨，他們行詭計日夜思索。
They also that seek after my life lay snares [for me]; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
13 但我好像是一個有耳聽不見的聾子，我又好像是一個有口不能言的啞巴。
But I, as a deaf man, hear not; and I am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
14 我竟成了一個沒有聽覺的人，成了一個口中沒有辯詞的人。
Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15 因為我唯有仰慕你，上主，你必應允我，我主我天主！
For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.
16 我原來說過：「不要讓他們洋洋得意，不要讓他們因我的失足而沾沾自喜。」
For I said, Lest they rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17 我生來就易於失足，因此我常心懷痛苦。
For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18 我的確承認我犯了罪愆，我為了我的過惡而憂慚。
For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19 無故加害我的人，力強兇暴，無理憎恨我的人，成群結伙；
But mine enemies are lively, [and] are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
20 他們都以怨報德而對待我，因我追求正義而惱恨我。
They also that render evil for good are adversaries unto me, because I follow the thing that is good.
21 上主，求你不要捨棄我，我主，求你不要遠離我。
Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
22 我的上主，我的救助，求你速來給我護祐。
Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
