詩篇 3
1 【困苦人的祈禱】 達味詩歌，作於逃避其子阿貝沙隆時。 上主，迫害我的人，不可勝數! 攻擊我的人，成群結隊！
A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many [are] they that rise up against me.
2 很多人論及我說：天主絕不拯救他！
Many [there be] which say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. (Selah)
3 但是你，上主，是圍護我的盾牌，是我的榮耀，常使我首昂頭抬。
But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 我一向上主大聲呼號，祂便從聖山上俯聽我。
I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. (Selah)
5 我躺下安睡，我又醒了，因為上主常扶持著我。
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 雖有千萬人，向我圍攻，我一絲一毫也不驚恐。
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me round about.
7 上主，請你興起奮發；我的天主，求你救拔，因為你擊破了我仇敵的腮頰，你打破眾惡人的門牙。
Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 救援之恩完全屬於上主；願你的百姓受你的祝福！
Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. (Selah)
