詩篇 28

1 上主，我在向你呼號；我的磐石，不要置若罔聞；你若對我沉默不語，我便無異向陰府裏沉淪。

“A psalm of David.” To thee do I cry, O LORD! O my rock! be not silent to me, Lest, if thou answer me not, I become like those who go down to the pit!

2 當我朝著你的聖所向你呼號，高舉我手時，請俯聽我的哀禱！

Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry unto thee, When I lift up my hands to thy most holy sanctuary!

3 求你不要把我同敗類一起剿絕，不要把我同作惡的人一同消滅：他們與人談平安，但心中卻十分陰險。

Draw me not away with the impious, and with evil-doers, Who speak peace to their neighbors, while mischief is in their hearts!

4 願你按他們的作為，照他們行為的邪惡，報復他們；按他們手中的事業，給他們應得的報應，處罰他們！

Give them according to their deeds, and the wickedness of their doings; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them their desert!

5 他們不關心上主的工程和祂手中所行，但願上主粉碎他們，不要再使他們復興！

For they regard not the doings of the LORD, nor the work of his hands; Therefore will he destroy them, and not again build them up.

6 上主理應享受讚頌，因祂聽了我的禱聲。

Praised be the LORD, for he hath heard the voice of my supplications!

7 上主是我的力量，我的護佑，我對祂全心依賴，必獲扶助；為此我滿心歡喜，讚頌歌舞。

The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusteth in him, and he helpeth me; Therefore doth my heart exult, And in my song I will praise him.

8 上主是自己人民的力量，祂是受傅者得救的保障；

Jehovah is the strength of his people; He is the protecting shield of his anointed.

9 求你拯救你的人民，祝福你的百姓，求你牧養他們，提攜他們直至永恒。

Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance; Feed them also, and build them up for ever!
