詩篇 2

1 【默西亞必勝】萬邦為什麼囂張，眾民為什麼妄想？

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 世上列民群集一堂，諸侯畢至聚首相商，反抗上主，反抗他的受傅者：

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying],

3 來！我們掙斷他們的綑綁，我們擺脫他們的繩韁！

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 坐於天上者在冷笑，我主對他們在熱嘲。

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 在震怒中對他們發言，在氣焰中對他們喝道：

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6 我已祝聖我的君王，在熙雍我的聖山上。

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7 我要傳報上主的聖旨：上主對我說：你是我的兒子，我今日生了你。

I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 你向我請求，我必將萬民賜你作產業，我必將八極賜你作領地。

Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.

9 你必以鐵杖將他們粉碎，就如打破陶匠的瓦器。

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

10 眾王！你們現在應當自覺，大地掌權者！你們應受教：

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 應以敬愛之情事奉上主，戰戰兢兢向祂跪拜叩首；

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 以免祂發怒將你們滅於中途，因為祂的怒火發怒非常快速。凡一切投奔祂的人真是有福。

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
