詩篇 142

1 我高聲向上主呼求， 我高聲向天主求助。

Yahweh, I cry out to you; I plead [with you to help me].

2 我向他傾吐我的愁苦，我向他陳訴我的憂慮。

I am bringing to you [all] my problems; I am telling you [all] my troubles/difficulties.

3 當我精神愁苦的時候，惟有您知悉我的路途。在我行走的道路途中；他們給我設下陷阱。

When I am very discouraged, you know what I should do. Wherever I walk, [it is as though] my enemies have hidden traps for me [to fall into].

4 我向右觀察細看，沒有一個熟悉我的人！沒有一人我可投奔，沒有一人為我操心。

I look around, but there is no one who pays attention to me, no one who will protect me, no one who cares about [what happens to] me.

5 上主，我今呼號說：你是我的避難所，在這活人的地方，你就是我的福爵。

[So] Yahweh, I cry out to you [to help me]; you are the one who protects me; and you are all that I need while I am alive.

6 求您傾聽我的哀號，因我十分可憐無靠，求您救我脫離迫害我的人，因他們是比我強悍的人。

Listen to me while I cry out to you [for help], because I am very distressed. Rescue/Save me from those who are pursuing me, because they are very strong, with the result that I cannot [escape from them].

7 求您引領我出離監牢，好讓我讚美您的名號。義人前呼後擁歡迎我，因為您大量恩待了我。

Free/Rescue me from my troubles/difficulties [MET] in order that I may thank you. If you do that, when I am with godly/righteous [people], [I will praise you] for having been very good to me.
