詩篇 14

1 【無神者最愚蠢】愚妄人心中說：沒有天主；他們喪盡天良，恣意作惡；行善的人實在找不到一個！

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The foole hath said in his heart, There is no God: they haue corrupted, and done an abominable worke: there is none that doeth good.

2 上主由高天俯視世人之子，察看有無尋覓天主的智者。

The Lord looked downe from heauen vpon the children of men, to see if there were any that would vnderstand, and seeke God.

3 都離棄了正道，趨向邪惡：沒有一人行善，實在沒有一個。

All are gone out of the way: they are all corrupt: there is none that doeth good, no not one.

4 那些作奸犯科的人，吞我民如食饅頭；總不呼號上主的人，豈不是愚蠢胡塗？

Doe not all the workers of iniquitie know that they eate vp my people, as they eate bread? they call not vpon the Lord.

5 他們必然要驚慌失措，因上主喜愛義人家族。

There they shall be taken with feare, because God is in the generation of the iust.

6 你們儘可鄙視貧苦者的主張，但上主卻要自作他們的保障。

You haue made a mocke at the counsell of the poore, because the Lord is his trust.

7 唯以色列人的救援來自熙雍! 一旦上主將自己民族的命運變更，雅各伯必將喜慶，以色列必將歡騰。

Oh giue saluation vnto Israel out of Zion: when the Lord turneth the captiuitie of his people, then Iaakob shall reioyce, and Israel shall be glad.
