詩篇 138

1 上主，我要全心稱謝您，因您俯聽了我的懇祈。我要在眾神前歌頌您，

A Psalm of David. I will give Thee thanks with my whole heart, in the presence of the mighty will I sing praises unto Thee.

2 朝您的聖所伏地致敬；為了您的仁慈至誠，我必要稱謝您的聖名；因為您把您的名號和您的諾言，在萬物與萬民的面前發揚彰顯，

I will bow down toward Thy holy temple, and give thanks unto Thy name for Thy mercy and for Thy truth; for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.

3 我幾時呼號您，您就俯允我，並將我靈魂上的力量增多。

In the day that I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength.

4 地上萬君聽您口的諭旨；上主，他們都必來讚頌您，

All the kings of the earth shall give Thee thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of Thy mouth.

5 並歌頌上主的作為說：上主的光耀偉大無比！

Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.

6 上主尊高無比，仍垂顧弱小，惟對驕傲的人，卻遠遠旁眺。

For though the LORD be high, yet regardeth He the lowly, and the haughty He knoweth from afar.

7 我若處於因難中，您必保全我的性命，您用右手救我，伸手拒抗仇人的憤恨。

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou quickenest me; Thou stretchest forth Thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand doth save me.

8 上主必替我完成這工程；上主，您的仁慈永遠常存，求您不要放棄您的作品。

The LORD will accomplish that which concerneth me; Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; forsake not the work of Thine own hands.
