詩篇 120

1 我受難時一呼求上主，祂就俯聽了我的呼求。

A Song of Ascents. In my distress I cried unto Jehovah, And he answered me.

2 上主，求您救我脫離說謊者的口脣，上主，求您救我擺脫詭詐的舌根。

Deliver my soul, O Jehovah, from lying lips, [And] from a deceitful tongue.

3 您這詭詐的口舌，究竟怎樣對待付您？究竟怎樣懲治您？

What shall be given unto thee, and what shall be done more unto thee, Thou deceitful tongue?

4 只有勇士的矢箭，還有杜松的火炭！

Sharp arrows of the mighty, With coals of juniper.

5 我真不幸! 因為要在默舍客居住，要在刻達爾的帳幕寄宿。

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, That I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

6 因與憎惡和平的人相處，我的靈魂已經感到太久。

My soul hath long had her dwelling With him that hateth peace.

7 我言談無非和平，他們卻鼓勵戰爭。

I am [for] peace: But when I speak, they are for war.
