詩篇 116
1 我對上主愛慕傾心，因祂俯聽我的禱聲；
I love Yahweh—because he heareth my voice, my supplications;
2 在我呼籲祂的那日，祂向我側祂的聖耳。
Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.
The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol h7585)
4 我呼求了上主的聖名，上主，求您救我的性命。
But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called—I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.
5 上主富有憐憫和正義，我們的天主仁愛無比；
Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.
6 上主，保護誠樸的人，我若軟弱，祂必救助。
Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.
7 我的靈魂，您回到您的安息，因為上主實在是厚待了您。
Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 因為祂救拔我的靈魂脫免死亡，不使我的眼睛流淚，不使我的腳跌傷。
For thou hast rescued my soul from death, —mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
9 我要在人的地域，在上主的面前行走。
I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.
10 雖然說我已痛苦萬分，但是我仍然抱有信心。
I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.
11 我在彷徨中曾說：眾人都虛詐不誠。
I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!
12 我要怎樣報謝上主，謝祂賜給我的一切恩佑？
How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?
13 我要舉起救恩的杯，我要呼顅上主的名，
The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
14 我要在眾百姓面前，向上主還我的誓願。
My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!
15 上主的聖者的去世，在上主的眼中十分珍貴。
Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.
16 我的上主！我是您的僕役，您僕役是您婢女的兒子；您將我的鎖鏈給我開釋，
I beseech thee, O Yahweh—for, I, am thy servant, —I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.
17 我要給您奉獻讚頌之祭，我要呼號上主的名字。
To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:
18 我要在眾百姓面前，向上主還我的誓願，
My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people; —
19 要在上主聖殿的庭院，耶路撒冷! 即在您中間。
In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
