詩篇 107
1 請您們向上主讚頌，因為祂是美善寬仁，祂的仁慈永遠常存。
O give thanks to Yahweh—For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
2 歌詠此曲的人們是：上主親身所救贖的，由敵人手中救出的，
Let the redeemed of Yahweh say, Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 從各地召集來的，東南西北聚來的。
And, out of the lands, hath gathered them—From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.
4 他們在曠野和沙漠中漂流，找不到安居之城的道路。
They wandered about in the desert—in a waste, Way to a city to dwell in, found they none;
5 他們口渴而又腹饑，生命已經奄奄一息；
Hungry—yea thirsty, their soul, within them, fainted:
6 他們於急難中一哀救上主，上主即拯救他們脫離困苦，
Then made they outcry to Yahweh, in their peril, Out of their distresses, he rescued them;
7 引領他們走入正道，走內入可安居的城廓。
And led them by a straight road, That they might journey to a city to dwell in.
8 願他們感謝上主的仁慈，稱頌祂給人子顯的奇蹟。
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men;
9 因為祂使饑渴的人得到飽飫，祂使肚餓人享盡美物。
For he hath satisfied the longing soul, and, the famished soul, hath he filled with good.
10 他們坐在黑暗與死影裏，盡為痛苦與鐵鍊所縛繫，
The dwellers in darkness and death-shade, bound with oppression and iron;
11 因為背棄了天主的命令，又輕視了至高者的叮嚀。
Because they had rebelled against the sayings of GOD, —and, the counsel of the Most High, they had spurned;
12 因此，祂以苦難折磨了他們的心神，他們跌倒了，卻沒有人來扶持他們。
And he bowed down, with labour, their heart, They staggered, with no one to help,
13 他們在急難中哀求上主，上主即救他們脫離困苦，
Then made they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, Out of their distresses, he saved them;
14 領他們擺脫死影與黑暗，把他們的銬鐐完全弄斷。
He brought them forth out of darkness and death-shade, and, their fetters, he tare off.
15 願他們感謝上主的仁慈，稱頌祂給人子顯的奇蹟。
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
16 因為祂把銅門摧毀，又把鐵閂擊碎。
For he brake in pieces the doors of bronze, And, the bars of iron, he hewed asunder.
17 他們因行為邪惡而病重，因犯罪而遭受苦痛；
The perverse, by reason of their transgression, and on account of their iniquities, are afflicted;
18 他們厭棄各樣的食物，快已接近死亡的門戶。
All manner of food, their soul abhorreth, and so they draw near unto the gates of death,
19 他們於急難中一哀求主，上主即拯救他們脫離困苦。
Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he saveth them.
20 主發一言就將他們病除，且拯救他們脫離了陰府。
He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.
21 願他們感謝上主[的仁慈，稱頌祂給人子顯的奇蹟。
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
22 願他們獻上感恩的祭獻，將祂的工程歡樂地宣傳。
Yea let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount his works with a shout.
23 他們乖船，下海行航，在大洋中往來經商，
Men who go down to the sea, in ships, doing business through mighty waters;
24 他們看見過上主的奇異作為，遇到過祂行於汪洋中的奇跡：
They, see the works of Yahweh, and his wonders in the deep;
25 祂一發命，風浪狂掀，海中波檮頓時高翻，
And he speaketh, and there ariseth a tempestuous wind, which lifteth on high its rolling waves;
26 時而忽躍沖天，時而忽墜棎淵；此危急之中，他們膽戰心寒，
They mount the heavens, they descend the roaring deeps, their soul, by trouble, dissolveth;
27 恍惚且暈眩，有如醉漢；一切的經驗全部紊亂。
They reel and stagger, like a drunken man, and, all their wisdom, is engulfed,
28 他們於急難中一哀求上主，上主即拯救他們脫離困苦。
Then make they outcry to Yahweh in their peril, and, out of their distresses, he bringeth them forth,
29 祂化風暴為平靜，海濤頓時便安定；
He calmeth the storm to a whisper, and silent are their rolling waves:
30 祂使風平浪靜，大家個個歡忭，祂領他們登上了渴薶的海岸。
Then are they glad, because they are hushed, And he guideth them unto their desired haven.
31 願他們感謝上主的仁慈，稱頌祂給人子的奇蹟，
Let them give thanks to Yahweh for his lovingkindness, and for his wonderful dealings with the sons of men!
32 在人民的集會中頌揚祂，在長老的議上讚美祂。
Yea let them extol him in the convocation of the people, and, in the seated company of elders, let them praise him.
33 上主使河域變為荒灘，青使清水泉變成乾川，
He turneth Rivers into a desert, and, Springs of Water, into thirsty ground,
34 使肥沃土地變為鹹田，都因當地居民的罪愆。
A Land of Fruit, into a waste of salt, For the wickedness of them who dwell therein.
35 祂又能使沙漠變成水源，使旱地變成水泉。
He turneth A Desert, into a pool of water, and, A Parched Land into springs of water;
36 把饑餓的人徒置在那地，使他們與興建者安居的城邑；
And hath caused the famished to dwell there, And they have built them a city to dwell in;
37 耕田種地，開懇了葡萄園，因此收穫果實，豐富出產。
And have sown fields, and planted vineyards, and made them fruits of increase:
38 上主祝福了他們人口繁衍，賞賜他們的牲畜有增無減。
Thus hath he blessed them, and they have multiplied greatly, And, their cattle, he maketh not few.
39 其後因慘遭災患苦茌難，人口減少而被棄如前。
So have they become few and been brought low, By oppression, misfortune, and sorrow;
40 但上主卻使權貴遭受恥辱，任他們徘徊歧途無路可走。
He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;
41 但拯救貧窮人脫離災難，使他們家屬多如羊群一般。
But he hath set the needy on high from affliction, and made families, like a flock: —
42 正直的人見到必然歡忭，但邪惡的人卻啞口無言。
The upright seeth and is glad, And, all perverseness, hath closed her mouth.
43 那一位賢哲詳察此事，並能體會上主的仁慈！
Who is wise? then let him observe these things! and diligently consider the lovingkindness of Yahweh.
