詩篇 10
1 【求主隡除惡霸】上主，你為什麼站在遠處！在困苦之時竟隱藏不露？
Why standest thou afar off, O Yhwh? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
2 惡人蠻橫地難為弱小的人，叫他陷於預設的陰謀之中。
The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 惡人因隨心所欲而自慶，匪徒因輕慢上主而自幸；
For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom Yhwh abhorreth.
4 惡人心高氣傲說：他絕不會追究！也絕沒有天主！這就是他的企圖。
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5 他的道路時時彎曲錯謬；常把你的懲罰拋諸腦後，對一切私仇常怒氣詛咒。
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 心下自語：我永遠不會動搖！我永永遠遠不會遭受災禍！
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
7 他他滿口是欺詐與辱罵，舌下盡是惡毒與謊話。
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
8 他在村邊隱密處埋伏，他暗地裏要殺害無辜，他對不幸者窺伺注目，
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9 他在暗處伺伏，有如獅子蹲在洞口，要把貧困的人，伺機刮搜，將貧困者拖入網中劫走。
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
10 他俯下身子，蹲伏在地下，不幸者便陷入他的爪牙；
He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
11 心下自語說：天主忘了，祂掩了面，永不再看。
He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
12 上主天主，求你起來將手舉起，不要把窮苦人忘記。
Arise, O Yhwh; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
13 為何讓人們輕慢天主，心下自語，「祂絕不會追究？」
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
14 其實你已看見欺壓與罪行，正考慮如何親手加以嚴懲；因此不幸的人向你投奔，唯有你是孤兒們的救星。
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15 願你打斷罪犯與惡人的臂膊，報復他的罪孽直至不再發作。
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
16 上主為王，直至於萬世無疆；野蠻人必由祂領域中喪亡。
Yhwh is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
17 上主，你垂允了謙卑者的心願，堅固他們的心靈，也側耳俯聽。
Yhwh, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18 護衛孤兒和受壓迫者的特權，使塵世的人不再施恐怖手段
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
