彌迦書 7
1 我有禍了! 因為我變成了一個夏季搜摘果實，採集殘餘葡萄的人，卻沒有一粒葡萄可吃，也沒有我心思所想望的早熟的無花果。
Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape-gleanings of the vintage: [there is] no cluster to eat: my soul desired the first ripe fruit.
2 虔敬人從地上消逝了，人間竟沒有一個正直人；人人都潛伏著要流人血，各以羅網獵取自己的弟兄。
The good [man] hath perished from the earth: and [there is] none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
3 他們的手善於作惡，官員貪求賄賂，法官勒索酬金，權貴只隨自己的心願發言，他們顛倒了一切。
That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge [asketh] for a reward; and the great [man], he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
4 他們中最好的人也不過相似荊棘，最正直的人也不過相似有刺的籬笆。你的守望者所宣佈的懲罰之日已經到了；現在他們必要驚惶。
The best of them [is] as a brier: the most upright [is sharper] than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen [and] thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5 你們不要信賴鄰里；不要倚靠朋友，連對躺在你懷中的妻子，也也要堅守口舌，
Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 因為兒子要侮辱自己的父親，女兒要反抗自己的母親，兒媳要違抗自己的婆母：人的仇敵就是自己的家人。
For the son dishonoreth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies [are] the men of his own house.
7 至於我，我要仰望上主，寄望於拯救我的天主；天主必要俯聽我。
Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 我的仇敵! 你不要因我遭難而高興；我雖然跌倒，必再起來；我雖坐在黑暗中，但上主是我的光明。
Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD [will be] a light to me.
9 因為我得罪了上主，我必須承擔上主的義怒，直到衪審判我的案件，為我主持公道，衪必領 進入光明，我必能目睹衪的正義。
I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he shall plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, [and] I shall behold his righteousness.
10 我的仇敵見了，必要蒙受羞辱，因為他曾對我說：「上主你的天主在哪裏﹖」我的眼必要看見他，有如街上的污泥被人踐踏。
Then [she that is] my enemy shall see [it], and shame shall cover her who said to me, Where is the LORD thy God? my eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
11 必有一天，要重建你的城垣；那一天，你的地界必要擴展；
[In] the day that thy walls are to be built, [in] that day shall the decree be far removed.
12 那一天，從亞述到埃及，從提洛到幼發的河，從這海到那海，從這山到那山的人民，都要向你歸來；
[In] that day [also] he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and [from] the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and [from] mountain to mountain.
13 其餘的地域，必因其中居民行為的惡果，變為一片荒涼。
Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell in it, for the fruit of their doings.
14 上主，求你拿你的牧杖牧放你的人民──獨留在草莽中，在田園間，作你基業的羊群；讓他們在巴商和基肋阿得獲得豢養，一如昔日。
Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thy heritage, who dwell solitarily [in] the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed [in] Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
15 上主一如讓我們在你出離埃及的時日內，見到奇蹟；
According to the days of thy departure from the land of Egypt will I show to him marvelous [things].
16 讓異民見了，感到自己一籌莫展，棎自慚愧，用手掩口，雙耳變聾。
The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay [their] hand upon [their] mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
17 他們將舔土如蛇，像上爬行的爬蟲，戰戰兢兢地從他們洞穴裏爬出來，向你，上主我們的天主，表示尊敬敬畏。
They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.
18 哪裏有神相似你，赦免罪惡，寬宥他的基業──遺民的過錯，不堅時憤怒於永遠，反而喜愛仁慈﹖
Who [is] a God like to thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth [in] mercy.
19 你必再憐憫我們，將我們的邪惡踏於足下，將我們的一切罪過投入海底。
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
20 你必按照你昔日向我們祖先所發了的誓，對雅各伯表示忠信，對亞巴郎施行仁慈。
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, [and] the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
