馬太福音 9
1 耶穌上船過海，來到了自己的城。
And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.
2 看，有人給衪送來一個躺在床上的黨癱子，耶穌一見他們的信心，就對癱子說：「孩子，你放心，你的罪赦了。」
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
3 經師中有幾個人心裏說：」這人說了褻瀆的話。」
And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 耶穌看透他們的心意說：「你們為什麼心裏思代念惡事呢﹖
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5 什麼比較容易呢﹖是說：你的罪赦了，或是說：起來行走吧！
For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6 為叫你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄─就對癱子說：起來，拿起你的床，回家去吧！」
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, ( then saith he to the sick of the palsy, ) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7 那人就起來，回家去了。
And he arose, and departed to his house.
8 群眾見了，就都害怕起來，遂歸光榮於天主，因他衪賜給了人們這麼大的權柄。
But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such authority unto men.
9 耶穌從那裏前行，，看見一個人在稅關那裏坐著，名叫瑪竇，對他說：「跟隨我！」他就起來跟隨了耶穌。
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
10 當耶穌在屋裏坐席時，有許多稅吏和罪人也來同耶穌和衪的門徒一起坐席。
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 法利賽人看見，就對衪的門徒說：」你們的老師為什麼同稅吏和罪人一起進食呢﹖」
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 耶穌聽見了，就說：「不是健康的人須要醫生，而是有病的人。
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 你們去研究一下：『我喜歡仁愛勝過祭獻』是什麼意思；我不是來召義人而是來召罪人。」
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 那時，若翰的門徒來到衪跟前說：「為什麼我們和法利賽人多次禁食，而你的門徒卻不禁食呢﹖」
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
15 耶穌對他們說：「伴郎豈能當新郎與他們一起的時候悲哀﹖但日子將要來到；當新郎從他們中被劫去時，那時他們就要食了。
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 沒有人用未漂過的布作補釘補在舊衣服上的，因為補上的必扯裂了舊衣，破碇就更加壞了。
No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 也沒有人把新酒裝入舊皮囊裏的，不然，曩一破裂，酒也流了，皮囊也壞了；而是應把新酒裝在新皮囊裏，兩樣就都得保全。」
Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 耶穌向他們說這話的時候，有一位首長前來跪拜衪說：「我的女兒剛才死了，可是請你來，把你的手放在她身上，她必會活。」
While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
19 耶穌起來跟他去了；衪的門們也跟了去。
And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
20 看，有一個患血漏十二年的女人，從後面走近，摸了衪的衣服禭頭，
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 因為她心裏想：「只要我一摸衪的衣服，我就會好了。」
For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 耶穌轉過身來，看著她說：「女兒，放心吧！你的信德救了妳。」從那時起，那女心就好了。
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
23 耶穌來到首長家裏，看見吹笛的和亂哄哄的群眾，
And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24 就說：「你們起開吧！女孩沒有死，只是睡了。」他們都譏笑衪。
He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25 把群眾趕出去以後，耶穌就進去，拿起女孩子的手，小女孩就起來了。
But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
26 這消息傳遍了那整個地區。
And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
27 耶穌從那裏前行，有兩個瞎子跟著衪喊說：「達味之子！可憐我們吧！」
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
28 衪一來到家，瞎子使走到衪跟前；耶穌對他們說：「你們信我能做作這事嗎。」他們對衪說：「是，主。」
And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 於是耶穌摸他們的眼說：「照你們的信德，給你們成就吧！」
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 他們的眼便開了。耶穌嚴厲驚戒他們說：「你們當心，不要使任何人知道。」
And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
31 但他們出去，就在那整個地區把衪傳揚開了。
But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
32 他們出去後，看，有人給耶穌送來一個附魔的啞吧。
As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33 魔鬼一疲趕出去，啞吧就說出話來。群眾驚奇說：「在以色列從未出現萵這樣的事情。」
And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34 但法利賽人們卻說：「衪是仗賴魔王驅魔。」
But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
35 耶穌周遊各城各村，在他們的會堂內施教，宣講又國的福音，治好一切疾病，一切災殃。
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 衪一見群眾，就對他們動了慈心，因為他們困苦流離，像沒有牧人的羊。
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 於是對自己的門徒說：「莊稼固多，工人卻少，
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 所以你們應當求莊稼的主人派遣工人，來收衪的莊稼。」
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
