馬太福音 7
1 你們不要判斷人，免得你們受判斷，
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 因為你們用什麼來判斷，你們也要受什麼判斷。你們用什麼尺度量給人，也要用什麼尺度量給你們。
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with the measure which ye measure with, it shall be measured to you again.
3 為什麼你只看見你兄弟眼中的木屑，而對自己眼中的大樑竟不理會呢﹖
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thy own eye?
4 或者，你怎麼能對你的兄弟說：讓我把你眼中的木屑取出來，而你眼中卻有一根大樑呢﹖
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thy eye; and, behold, a beam is in thy own eye?
5 假善人哪，先從你眼中取出大樑，然後你才看得清楚，取出你兄弟眼中的木屑。
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thy own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6 你們不要把聖物給狗，也不要把你們的珠寶投在豬前，怕它們用腳踐踏了珠寶，而又轉過來咬傷你們。
Give not that which is holy to dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 你們求必要給你們；你們找，必要找著；你們敲，必要給你們開，
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you:
8 因為凡是求的，就必得到；找的，就必找到；敲的，就必給他開。
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 或者，你們中間有那個人，兒子向他要餅，反而給他石頭呢？
Or what man is there of you, who if his son shall ask bread, will give him a stone?
10 或者求魚反而給他石頭呢﹖
Or if he shall ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 你們縱然不善，尚且知道把好的東西給你們的兒女，何況你們在天之父，豈不更將好的賜與求衪的人？
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 所以，凡你們願意別人給你們做的，你們也要照樣給人做：法律和先知即在於此。
Therefore all things whatever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 你們要從窄門進去，因為寬路和大門導入喪亡；但有許多的人從那裏進去。
Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in by it:
14 那導入生命的路是多麼窄，硌是多麼狹！找到它的的人的確不多。
Because small is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth to life, and few there are that find it.
15 你們要提防假先知！他們來到你們跟前，外披羊毛，裏面卻是兇殘的豺狼。
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 你們可憑他們的果實辨別他們：荊棘上豈能收到葡萄？或者蒺藜上豈能收到無花果？
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17 這樣，凡是好樹都結好果子；而壞樹都結壞果子；
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth bad fruit.
18 好樹不能結壞果子，壞樹也不能結好果子。
A good tree cannot bring forth bad fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 凡不結好果子的樹必要砍倒，投入火中。
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 所以，你可憑他們的果子他們。
Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 不是凡向我說『主啊！主啊！』的人，就能進入天國；而是那承行我在天之父旨意的人，才能進天國。
Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22 在那一天有許多人要向我說：『主啊！主啊！我們不是因你的名字說過預這，因你的名字驅過魔鬼，因你的名字行過許多奇跡嗎？』
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out demons? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 那時我必要向他們聲明說：我從來不認識你們；你們這些作惡的人離開我吧！
And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 所以，凡聽了我這些話而實行的，就好像一個聰明人，把自己房屋建在磐石上：
Therefore whoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:
25 雨淋，水沖，風吹，襲擊那所房屋，它並不坍塌，因為基礎是建在磐石上。
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 凡聽了我這些話而不實行的，就妳像一個愚昧人，把自己的房屋建在沙土上：
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:
27 雨淋，水沖，風吹，襲擊那所房屋，它就坍塌了，且坍塌的很慘」
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was its fall.
28 耶穌講完了這些話，群眾都驚奇衪的教訓，
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 因為衪教訓他們，正像有權威的人，不像他們的經師.
For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
