馬太福音 21
1 們臨近耶路撒冷，來到靠近橄欖山的貝特法革時，耶穌就打發兩個門徒，
When they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethsphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples ahead,
2 對他們說：「你們往對面的村莊裏去，立時會看見一匹栓的母驢，和跟牠在一起的驢駒。解開，給我牽來，
telling them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with it. Untie them and bring them to me.
3 如果有人對你們說什麼，你們就說：主要用牠們。他們就會立刻放牠們來」
If anyone says anything to you, say, ‘The Lord has need of them.’ And immediately he will send them.”
4 這事發生，是為應驗先知所說的：
Now all this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet:
5 「你們應向熙雍女子說：看，你的君王來到你這裏，溫和地騎在一匹驢上，一匹母驢的小驢駒上。」
“Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, yoʋr king is coming to yoʋ, humble and mounted on a donkey, and a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”
6 門徒就去，焄耶穌吩咐他們的做了。
So the disciples went and did just as Jesus had directed them.
7 他們牽了母驢和驢來，把外衣搭在牠們的身上，扶耶穌坐在上面。
They brought the donkey and the colt and laid on them their garments, and Jesus sat on them.
8 很多群眾，自己的外衣舖在地上，還有些人從樹上砍下樹枝來，撒在路上。
A very large crowd spread their garments on the road, and others cut down branches from the trees and also spread them on the road.
9 前行後隨的群眾喊說：「賀三納於達味之子！因上主之名而來的，當受讚頌！賀三納於至上之天。」
The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed were crying out, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
10 當耶穌進入耶路撒冷的時候，全城哄動，說：「這人是誰？ 」
As he came into Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, “Who is this?”
11 群眾說：「這是加利肋亞納匝肋的先知耶穌。」
So the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, who is from Nazareth of Galilee.”
12 耶穌進了聖殿，把一切在聖殿內的商人顧客趕出去，把錢莊的桌子和賣鴿子的凳子推翻
Then Jesus entered the courts of God's temple and drove out all who were selling and buying there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves.
13 向他們說：「經上記載：『我的殿宇，因稱為祈禱之所。』你們竟把它做成了賊窩。」
And he said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers.”
14 在聖殿仕的瞎子和瘸子來到衪跟前，衪都治好了他們。
Then the lame and the blind came to him in the temple courts, and he healed them.
15 司祭長及經師見了衪所行的奇事，又聽見了孩子們在聖殿內喊說：「賀三納於達味之子！」就大發忿怒，
But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did and the children crying out in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant
16 對耶穌說：「你聽見他們所說的嗎！」耶穌對他們說：「是的，你們從未讀過：『你由嬰兒和吃奶者的口中，備受讚美』這句話嗎？ 」
and said to him, “Do yoʋ hear what these children are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes, have you never read, ‘Out of the mouths of babies and nursing infants yoʋ have prepared praise’?”
17 於是便離開他們走出城外，到伯達尼去，在那裏過夜。
And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and spent the night there.
18 早晨，衪回城時，餓了，
Early in the morning, as Jesus was returning to the city, he was hungry.
Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves. Then he said to it, “May there never be any fruit from yoʋ again!” And at once the fig tree withered. (aiōn g165)
20 門徒一見就驚異說：「怎麼這無花果樹立即枯乾了？」
When the disciples saw it, they were amazed, saying, “How did the fig tree wither all at once?”
21 耶穌回答他們說：「我實在告訴你們：你們如果有信德，不疑惑，不但能對無花果樹做這件事，既使你們對這座山說：起來，投到海中！也必要實現。
Jesus answered them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
22 不論你們在祈禱時懇求什麼，只要信，就必獲得。」
And if you have faith, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
23 衪進了聖殿，正教訓人時，司祭長和民間的長老來到衪跟前說：「你憑什麼權柄作這些事？ 誰給了你這種權柄？ 」
When he entered the temple courts, the chief priests and the elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching and said, “By what authority are yoʋ doing these things? And who gave yoʋ this authority?”
24 耶穌回答說：「我也問你們一句話：你們若答覆我，我就告訴你們：我憑什麼權作這些事。
Jesus answered them, “I will also ask you one question. If you tell me the answer, I will also tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
25 若翰的洗禮，是從哪裏來的？是從天上來的？ 還是從人間來的？ 」他們心中思量說：「如果我們說，是從天上來的，衪必對我們說：你們為什麼不信他？
Where did John's authority to baptize come from? From heaven or from men?” So they discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say to us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
26 如果我們說：是從人來的，我們害怕民眾，因為眾人都以若翰為一位先知。
But we are afraid of what the crowd might do if we say, ‘From men,’ for everyone regards John as a prophet.”
27 他們便耶穌說：「我們不知道。」耶穌也對們們說：「我也不告訴你們：我憑什麼權柄做道些事。
So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” Then he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
28 你們以為怎樣？ 從前有一個人，有兩個兒子，他對第一個說：孩子！ 你今天到葡萄園裏去工作吧！
“But what do you think? A man had two sons. He went to his first son and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’
29 他回答說：我去。但他卻沒有去。
His son answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind and went.
30 他對第二個也說了同樣的話，第二個卻回答說：我不願意。但後來悔悟過來，而又去了。
Then the man went to his second son and said the same thing. His second son answered, ‘I will go, sir,’ but he did not go.
31 兩人中哪一個履行了夬父親的意願？ 」他們說：「後一個。」耶穌對他們說：「我實告訴你們：稅吏和娼妓要在你們以先進入天國，
Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.
32 因為若翰來到你們道裏履行了正義，你們仍不相信他。稅吏和娼妓倒相信了；至於你們，見了後，仍不悔悟去相信他。」
For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but tax collectors and prostitutes believed him. Yet even after you saw it, you did not change your minds and believe him.
33 你們再聽一個比喻吧！從前有一個家主，培植了一個葡萄園，周圍圍上籬笆，園內掘了一個榨酒池，築了一個守望台，把它租給園戶，就離開了本國。
“Listen to another parable: There was a master of a house who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it to farmers, and left the country.
34 快到收果子的時節，他打發僕人到園戶那裏去收果子。
When the season for fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the farmers to receive his fruit.
35 園戶拿住了僕人，將一個鞭打了，將一個殺了，將另一個用石頭砸死了。
But the farmers seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned yet another.
36 他再打發一些僕人去，人數比以前還多；園戶也一樣對待了他們，
Again he sent other servants, more than the first group. But the farmers treated them in the same way.
37 最後他打發他的兒子到他們那去，說：他們會尊敬我的兒子。
Last of all, he sent them his son, saying, ‘They will have respect for my son.’
38 但園戶一看見是兒子，就此說：這是繼承人；來，我們殺掉他，我們就能得到他的產業。
But when the farmers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and take possession of his inheritance.’
39 於是他們拿住他，把他推到園外殺了。
So they took him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.
40 那麼當葡萄園的主人來時，他要怎樣處置那此些園戶呢？」
Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers?”
41 他們回答說：「要兇惡地消滅那些兇惡的人，把葡萄園另租給按時給他繳納出產的園戶。」
They said to him, “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end and lease the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruits in their seasons.”
42 耶穌對他們說：「匠人棄而不用的石頭，反而成了屋角的基石；那是上主的所行所為，在我們眼中，神妙莫測』的這句經文，你們沒有讀過嗎？
Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is amazing in our eyes’?
43 為此我對你們說：天主的國，必由你們中奪去，而交給果子的外邦人。
Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.
44 跌在這石頭上的，必被撞碎；這石頭落在誰身上，必要把他壓踤」
He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”
45 司祭長和法利賽人聽了衪的這些比喻，覺出衪是指著他們說的，
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus' parables, they knew he was speaking about them.
46 就想逮住衪；但害怕民眾，因為他們以耶穌為一位先知。
Although they were looking for a way to arrest him, they were afraid of the crowds, because the people regarded him as a prophet.
