馬太福音 18
1 在那時刻，門徒來到耶穌跟前說：「在天國裏究竟誰是最大的？ 」
In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
2 耶穌就叫一個小孩子來，使他站在他們中間，
He called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them,
3 說：「我實在告訴你們：你們若不變成如同小孩子一樣，決不能進天國。
and said, "Truly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 所以，誰若自謙自卑如同這一個小孩，這人就是天國中最大的。」
Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 無論誰因我的名字，收留一個這樣的小孩，就是收留我；
Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,
6 但無論誰使這些信我的小孩子中的一個跌倒，倒不如拿一塊驢拉的磨石繫在他的頸上，沉在海的深處更好。
but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.
7 世界因了惡表是有禍的，惡表固然免不了要來，但那立惡表的人是禍的。
"Woe to the world because of stumbling blocks. For there will always be something to cause people to stumble, but woe to the person through whom the stumbling block comes.
If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the everlasting fire. (aiōnios g166)
If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the fire of hell. (Geenna g1067)
10 你們小心，不要輕視這些小子中的一個，因為我告訴你們：他們的天使在天下常見我在又之父的面。
See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
11 [因為人子來是為救那喪亡了的。]
12 他們以為如何？如果一個人有一百隻羊，其中一隻迷失了路，他豈不把那九十九隻留在山上，而去尋找那迷隻失了路的嗎？
"What do you think? If someone has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
13 如果他幸運找著了，我實在你們：他為這一隻，比為那九十九隻沒有迷路的，更覺歡喜；
If he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
14 同樣，使這些小子中的一個喪亡，決不是你們在天之父的意願。
Even so it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
15 如果你的弟兄得罪了你，要在你和他獨處的時候，規勸他；如果他聽從了你，你便賺得了的你兄弟；
"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
16 但如果不聽，你就另帶上一個或兩個人，為叫任何事情，憑兩個或三個人的口供，得以成立。
But if he does not listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 若是他仍不聽從他們，你們告訴教會；如果他連教會也不聽從，你就將他看作外邦人或稅吏。
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. If he refuses to hear the church also, let him be to you as an unbeliever or a tax collector.
18 我實在告訴你們：凡你們在地上所束縳的，在天上也要被束縳；凡你們在地上所釋放的，在天上也要被釋放。
Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19 我實在告訴你們：若他們中二人，在地上同心合意，無論為什麼事祈禱，我在天之父，必要給他們成就，
Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
20 因為那裏有兩個或三個人，因我的名字聚在一起，我就在他們中間。」
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
21 那時，伯多祿來對耶穌說：「主啊！若我的弟兄得罪了我，我該寬恕他多少次？ 直到七次嗎？ 」
Then Peter came to him and said, "Lord, how often can my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
22 耶穌對他說：「我不對你說：直到七次。
Jesus said to him, "I do not tell you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
23 為此天國好比一個君王，要同他的僕人算賬。
Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants.
24 他開始算賬的時候，給他送來一個欠他一萬「塔冷通」的，
When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
25 因他沒有可還的，主人就下令，要他把自己和妻子兒女，以及他所有的一切，都變賣來還債。
But because he could not pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 那僕人就俯伏在地叩拜他說：主啊！容忍我吧！一切我都要還給你。
The servant therefore fell down and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all.'
27 那僕人的主人就動心把釋放了，並且也赦免了他的債。
The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
28 那僕人正出去時，遇見一個欠他一百「德納」的同伴，他就抓住他，扼住他的喉嚨說：還你欠的債！
"But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one hundred denarii, and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay what you owe.'
29 他的同伴就俯伏在地哀求他說：容忍我吧！我必還給你。
"So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you all.'
30 可是他不願意，且把他下在監裏，直到他他還清了欠債。
He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due.
31 他的同伴看見所發生事，非常悲憤，遂去把所發生的一告訴了主人。
So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done.
32 於是主人把那僕人叫來，對他說：惡僕！因為你哀求了我，我赦免了你那一切的債；
Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant. I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me.
33 難道你不該憐憫你的同伴，如同失憐憫了你一樣嗎！
Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'
34 他的主人大怒，遂把他交給刑役，直到他還清他所欠的一切。
His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due.
35 如果你們不各自從心裏寬恕自己的弟兄，我的天父也要這樣對待你們。」
So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you do not each forgive your brother his trespasses from your heart."
