約書亞記 16

1 若瑟的子孫抽籤分得的土地，從耶利哥對面的約旦河起，到耶利哥東面的水源，沿著曠野，由耶利哥向上到貝特爾山區，

The assignment of land for the tribe of Joseph extended from the Jordan at Jericho, east of the springs of Jericho, into the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country of Bethel.

2 再由貝特耳路次，沿著阿爾基人的邊境，直到下貝特曷龍的邊境，以迄於革則爾，直達於海邊邊境

Then it went from Bethel to Luz and passed along to Ataroth, the territory of the Arkites.

3 這是若瑟的兒子默納協和厄弗辣因分得的產業。

Then it went down westward to the territory of the Japhletites, as far as the territory of Lower Beth Horon, and then on to Gezer; it ended at the sea.

4 這是若望的兒子默納協和厄弗辣因分得的產業。

It was in this way that the tribes of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim received their inheritance.

5 以下是厄弗辣因子孫按照家族分得的土地：他們產業的邊界，東面是阿塔洛特阿達爾，直到上貝特曷龍，

The territory of the tribe of Ephraim, clan by clan: The border of their inheritance on the east went from Ataroth Addar as far as Upper Beth Horon,

6 直達於海。北端是米革默塔特，由此向東轉向塔納特史羅，越過雅諾亞東部，

and from there it continued to the sea. From Mikmethath on the north it turned eastward toward Taanath Shiloh and passed beyond it on the east to Janoah.

7 再由雅諾亞下至阿塔洛特和納阿辣，經耶利哥直達約旦河。

Then it went down from Janoah to Ataroth and to Naarah, and then reached Jericho, ending at the Jordan.

8 又從塔普亞往西到卡納谷，直達於海：以上是厄弗辣因子孫按照家族分得的產業。

From Tappuah the border went westward to the brook of Kanah and ended at the sea. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Ephraim, clan by clan,

9 此外，屬默納協子孫的產業中，還有給厄弗辣因子孫保留的城市──城市和所屬的村鎮。

together with the cities that were chosen for the tribe of Ephraim within the inheritance of the tribe of Manasseh—all the cities, including their villages.

10 但是他們未能將住在革則爾的客納罕人趕走，因此客納罕人直到今天還住在厄弗辣因人中間，充當苦役。

They did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so that the Canaanites live within Ephraim to this day, but these people were made to do forced labor.
