何西阿書 5
1 司祭，你們你們應信這話! 以色列家，留心細聽! 王室，側耳傾聽! 審判是為你們行的，因為你們的是米茲帕的圈套，是大博爾山上張開的羅網。
Hear all of you this, O priests; and hearken, all of you house of Israel; and give all of you ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because all of you have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
2 他們在史廷掘深了陷阱，但是我卻要完全懲治他們。
And the apostates are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
3 我認識厄弗辣因，因你行了淫，以色列玷污了自己。
I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, you commit whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
4 他們的行為不能使他們歸向天主，因為邪淫的心神潛伏在他們內，致使他們不認識天主。
They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
5 以色列的傲氣呈現他們臉上，厄弗辣因因自己的罪孽而，連猶大也與他們一同跌倒。
And the pride of Israel does testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.
6 縱使他們牽牛帶羊去尋求上主，但仍然尋不著，因為衪早已遠離了他們。
They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he has withdrawn himself from them.
7 他們背叛了上主，由此他們生了私生子。看，毀滅者必要併舌他們和他們的基業。
They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
8 你們要在基貝亞吹角，在辣瑪吹號，在貝特阿文 發出驚報，本雅明便要驚惶失措。
Blow all of you the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after you, O Benjamin.
9 在懲罰之日，厄弗辣因將變成一片荒涼；對以色列各支派，我要宣告一件實有的事
Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10 猶大的首領行事好像是挪移地界的人，所以我要在他們身上發洩卜憤怒，有如倒水一樣。
The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11 厄弗辣因強硬蠻橫，破壞了正義，因為他樂意隨跟送」虛無」。
Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
12 由此我對厄弗辣因將像是一個蠹魚，對猶大家將像是一個蛀蟲。 1的創傷
Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13 厄弗辣因發現了自己的疾病，猶大看見了自己的創傷，厄弗辣因便去了亞述，猶大遣使往謁大王；可是他不能醫治你們，也不能治愈你們身上的創傷。
When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
14 因為我對厄弗辣因要像是一隻獅子，對猶大家要像是一隻壯獅；的確，我必撕碎，然後退去；我要 把掠物帶走，誰也不能挽救。
For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
15 我要去，要回到我的原處，直到他們受了罰，而我的的聖容為止。在他們遇到困難時，他們必要我：
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
